Yes, it does.
Why couldn't Theros have been both Greek myth and enchantments-matter?
They pulled in different directions mechanically.
crypsys replied to your post: My stats in Dark Souls 3 are...
Also I’m at umm the demon ruins past “ash lake” and I think I’m kind of underlevelled
Yeah that part is also just like generally a lot harder then other areas. Really cool story implications with the boss though.
Astora Greatsword is an amazing weapon, probably the best all-rounder heavier weapons in the game and if you use the Refined Infusion and go 40 str 40 dex you get some sick ass damage numbers with it. You should totally use that also its weapon art is bonkers at destroying invaders/shield fucks.
And yeah I’d say your build suffers from the ‘wanna do many things’ syndrome.
Personally i try to avoid pulling points away from my main stats to do something if I can just use a consumable to similar effect. For example great combustion. Without strong Faith/Int that wont scale very well so for raw damage its gonna pull away from your Dex your main damage stat. If its fire damage you need then Charcoal Pine Resin and Firebombs have covered for the most part. Ranged fire damage? Fire arrows can be bought from Greirat.
Also as far as I can tell from my personal experience, Raw HP THEN Defenses to actually make it count tend to give me the best results but i dont have any actual math to back that up. Im sure someone’s done a funny meme video on youtube that did the math.
My stats in Dark Souls 3 are 10/14/20/20/16/18/15/10/10 (started as Assassin). Bosses are one-shotting me through full armor set, should I put points into hp or get better at dodging?
In my Totally Professional E-SPorts Dark Souls 3 legend opinion, Yes. Your health is low. 20-25 is a fairly good number to have for ‘regular’ play very few things will one shot you in NG, And you should have enough skill in NG+ to be okay for the most part.
The rest of your stats are kind of spread out. Im not quite sure what you’re doing there. A focused build tends to be more rewarding (in the damage department) compared to a ‘do a bit of everything’ build. The general rule of thumb for me at least it:
-Get the minimum stats needed to equip the gear i want (ex: The minimum Str/Dex required to use a specific weapon, The amount of Int/Faith/Attunment to let me use the a spell I like PLUS a backup/utility spell) Enough vitality to keep your equip load under 70%. That is the magic number there cause above that you start doing the embarrassing chunky monkey flop.
-Get enough health and stamina levels so that with your skill level you do okay. MILEAGE WILL VARY HERE. You want enough health so that most things wont one shot you, and enough stamina so you can land a few hits in your opening but still be able to roll once or twice to dodge the follow up.
-Finally once you got all that squared away, you got the weapons/spells you like you got your fashion souls rocking. Damage. Damage damage damage. The soft caps for STR/DEX are 40, meaning get the main scaling stat on your weapon to that ASAP if you’re not doing a spell caster build and the secondary scaling stat to about 25ish (You can go to 40 but the returns are only okay unless its got like B/A/S scaling in that secondary stat). If you are doing a spell caster build 40-60 is a good number to shoot for as well as having a casting catalyst that HAS the best possible scaling and stacking as many Spell Damage+ types of rings (ie Bellowing Dragoncrest ring for sorcery, Witch’s Ring for Pyromancy and so on)
Is an outlet a card that creates energy, or a card that lets you spend energy?
An outlet would be something that lets you spend energy.
Hi, I have a lot of thoughts about Magic design and a lot of input I'd like to give your cards individually. Would you mind enabling replies so I can comment without flooding my followers' dashes? 80% of them don't play Magic.
Sure. You no longer need to have followed for a week to reply.
I read every reply, but replying to replies is just inconvenient enough that I usually don’t do it. Don’t be surprised if I seem to ignore you.
It IS all your fault. Everything is a consequence of your failure to kill Magic. It's like you aren't even trying.
Every day I come home:
Lora (my wife): How'd today go? Did you kill Magic?
Me: (sadly) Not today.
Lora: Don't worry honey. I'm sure you'll do it tomorrow.
Why doesn't the "and gains this ability" clause of Thespian's Stage second ability apply in layer 6?
Because it’s part of a copy effect. Copy effects are special and can set extra abilities and characteristics.
