Winners Prize- AO3 || [light angst, fluff] Octavio isn't doing too well, but he's having a hell of a time watching Crypto go crazy

Denial- Tumblr || broken up!cryptane [angst] He keeps telling himself he didn’t mean it, that it was a lie and he was just angry. But if it were a lie why did he say it? He’s someone on the run sure, but someone like Octavio? Crypto wouldn’t lie to him. Right?

Prove Myself- Tumblr ((sequel to 'Denial')) || [angst and fluff] He told himself it’s “done” and “over”. It’s been a few weeks now and he’s “over” it. Maybe Crypto wasn’t meant for him, but god a part of him wants to relive that dream again.

Smoothtalker- AO3 || enemies to lovers fic! [angst, fluff] cw: alcohol “Yeah but you could never have me, I’m better than that.” He says half smugly. It’s clear at this point that he’s grasping at straws now. I smile at him and cup his cheek, tilting his head up towards mine so he can look me in the eyes. “Challenge accepted, see you tomorrow.”

cryptane hcs prt. 2!!

anon asked for more cryptane hcs but tumblr is bein funny so i have to make a whole separate post :( MORE CRYPTANE HCS!! (these ones might be a little fluffier) - octavio doesn’t often sit still in all honesty, but when he does he’s usually watching crypto fix his drone or fix something else techy. in the earlier days, when they would just be hanging out, tavi used to reach out his hands in an attempt to try and “help” crypto but crypto would just knock his hand away and curse at him. he learned not to try to touch and just look very quickly. - crypto is like. completely in love with octavio. he doesn’t show that side of his emotions very often and when he does it’s in the form of being jealous/protective. despite that though, he shows it through actions. he’s a very private person so it’s not PDA but it’s staring at octane when they’re just lazing around at home, or it’s resting his hand on his boyfriends thigh when they’re watching a movie, maybe even wrapping his arms around his boyfriend in the mornings. he has an extremely harsh exterior that’s clearly recognizable but something about octavio just melts him. - as everyone knows, tavi is a very fast-paced person. and that’s usually how it’s always been for his relationships. jumping from person to person and falling in and out of love as quick as a snap. but crypto made him slow down a bit. he wants to make it with crypto maybe, he won’t admit it because of his crippling fear of staying in one spot and being locked down but he’ll figure that out later, he loves crypto and that’s what matters most right now. - after their first big fight, they slept in their separate rooms, it’s a rare thing that happens, and when it does the other legends take note of that. cryptos a little bit grumpier than usual that next week and octavio is insanely fidgety (somehow more so than usual) and ajay had to calm him down a few times in the middle of the night because everyone could hear the metal tapping of his feet as he walked back and forth in his room. - crypto didn’t sleep at all that week, he spent the entire night on his computer trying to ignore the issue. he didn’t know what he could even say to octavio to make it better, he’s awkward enough already, and apologizing is not his strong suit. - eventually, they make up in the middle of the night through a lot of stuttering and bad explaining. they still fight a lot due to their differences but they make up quickly after. (yeah it’s due to their stubbornness) - i said “no PDA” but octane really likes holding cryptos hand in public. especially in front of the paparazzi. he loves seeing pictures of them coming off a ship or something, dressed up and holding hands. he loves showing how much he loves his boyfriend. - crypto is seen wearing some of tavi’s merch sometimes, he claims it’s just because it’s comfortable. in reality it’s because it makes him feel (somehow) even closer to octavio. - they have to sleep in cryptos room because octavio still does not have a bed in his. (ok this is kind of a blocky text post sorry abt that!! anyways tysm anon <3 :D)

... i can write a little bit of cryptane.... as a treat (for myself oh my goodness i think cryptane is cute!) CRYPTANE HCS!!!!!

- octane constantly fucking around with crypto’s drone, whether it’s him filming himself doing a crazy stunt in the sky or he’s just flying it around because he’s bored he loves that little machine - crypto was hesitant at first to get into a relationship with octavio since octavio is all about that efame and clout, but eventually he just got used to being in the background of nearly all of octanes videos and livestreams - tavi totally respects that crypto isn’t a huge fan of being in the spotlight but probably has a shit load of videos of him on his phone - they play lots of video games together!!!! and whenever crypto wins octane always claims that he was hacking (he’s a total sore loser) - octavio is protective of crypto. seeing as octavio is a very outgoing person and he most likely drags crypto places and they both get mobbed by fans tavi isn’t afraid to tell someone to back up if they’re getting a little too close for comfort.  - crypto gets jealous easily. he isn’t very vocal about it but if they’re out somewhere and a fan or a friend is getting a little too close to tavi he isn’t afraid to shoot them a dirty look. that’s his boyfriend and you should keep your hands to yourself around him. - they do have some fights. crypto and oc are two drastically different people and that is bound to cause some issues. at times maybe octane is a bit overbearing and clingy or maybe it’s that octane just wanted to hang out with a friend and crypto got a little too paranoid/jealous. they both definitely have places to improve and this is no picture perfect couple. - other than that they’re super sweet with each other - it’s difficult to get a genuine smile (even rarer to get a laugh) out of crypto but somehow oc manages - the other legends have no idea how the two even managed to get together since crypto barely even spoke to them - its actually because of how late the two of them stayed up - they ended up talking a lot about what they think about life and what they might do when they retire from the apex games - continued to run into each other afterwards a few nights a week - finally started hanging out in the daytime - eventually started playing viddy games with one another and then finally octavio (after much encouragement from ajay) asked out crypto to hang out - the date was awful but crypto thought it was nice - only really labelled it as a real thing when crypto was a little drunk and saw mirage fake flirting with octane at the bar - not everyone was there thankfully but octavio quickly got crypto to calm down and they went back to the ship to discuss it - he thinks its sort of cute now but tries not to let crypto drink so much since he seems to get more jealous than usual - maybe kinda thinks it’s hot - i didn’t say that - really like kicking each others asses in the arena - when they aren’t kicking each others asses they are busy being champions i could go on but i’ll save that for another day :) tysm for the request !!!!!
