Loki just couldn’t hold back the snort at that. “You mean Zach. I’m glad he’s the one you met and not Nao; that guy’s got a few screws loose.” Hypocrite. “So, what did you think of him? Besides the fact that he clearly thinks too highly of me.”

“Challenge accepted!” And he had just the perfect way of doing so. Taking Ryoko’s hand in his, palm up, he idly traced a particular line on her hand. After a while of this, he looked up and grinned wider. “Twenty-two...right?”

Zach tilted his head curiously as he watched the girl in front of him, wondering why she looked so familiar, since he was almost positive they’ve never met before. It took a while...a long while, but eventually he blinked.

“Right...you’re Loki’s girl, right?”
