Guess what I was finally able to finish??

It’s done!!! It’s done and I am so very tired and ready to put it on my shelves and rest easy!

It’s all bound with real leather in hopes of emulating y/n’s cryptid book! Corner protectors for a little extra dash of fancy and gold foil on the cover applied with a heat pen. The endpapers are some antiqued cotton sketchbook paper for that authentic journal feel. Then a bookmark! Cause every good book needs a bookmark!

The white border on everything was sadly unavoidable as I’m just doing this on my home printer and he doesn’t do borderless printing, but all things considered I am very proud of it and pleased with the end product!

I slapped some of my favorite inside shots in here, including some of Meep’s jawdropping art they so kindly let me include!

Thank you all so much for coming with me on this little adventure and thank you Naff for writing and sharing such inspiring stories. And for all your kind words, they’ve meant the world to me!

I recently read Cryptid Sightings by @naffeclipse, and decided to do some fanart of when Y/N discovered what Sun and Moon really are. Design of Eclipse belongs to @themeeplord, go check them out!

Unless the perfectionist demons win…these are the last FULL illustrations! Ideally, I had wanted to a shot of possessed Vanessa and also one of y/n and she in her hospital room, but my dudes. I am tired 🤣. The Vanessa one might still get done…it taunts me….

The one with Eclipse gave me the most trouble out of any picture I think…the emotions in that moment, when they can both FINALLY. REST. Glitchtrap defeated, secrets laid bare, both tired and worn and bleeding but finally able to see each other truly as they are with nothing more between them…Well I might’ve teared up at this scene. Trying to capture those feelings was HARD! It’s one of my favorite moments in the whole story(I think I say that a lot) but I REALLY mean it this time! It’s the moment that comes to my head the most when I think of the fic! It means a lot to me and makes me so very happy. This one went through several different drafts but I think I finally managed to get it the way I’d envisioned.

the last shot is soft and small! The boys and y/n, walking off into another adventure, wherever their cryptid sightings shall take them!

I DID want to do some more dramatic scenes, like the hotel room and the Big Fight! But alas my good people….i am a weenie and intimidated myself out of it lol, but honestly? I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got!

Now I’ve got a few more spot drawings to upload, my inside cover art(which needs to get finished still….)and then I thought maybe I’d post all my rejected drafts into a big doodle dump if anyone wants to see a bunch of half finished Suns and wonky anatomy?

Are ya’ll ready? Cause I’ve been very busy!!! My health’s been a little unpredictable lately so progress was halting, BUT…I’ve actually finished all the inside pictures now! I’ll be slapping them up here over the next couple days, but for now take a truck!

This one was a scene that lives in my head rent free at any given moment. I love this scene and have gone back and read it MANY times. I just love the slow pulling of y/n from terror to nervous hopeful excitement and seeing Eclipse get so eager to be with y/n as themselves but also still so reserved and cautious? Sweet ships are made of these….

anyways!! I think this one was fine as is, but I’ve digitally shaded all the night scenes now (I’ve made adjustments since posting some of them) and felt like I should keep the theme up? So digitally darkened trucks be upon ye!
