🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?

she feels most comfortable either at the community center, in one of the little nooks you can rest in, or near the train tracks, where she can sit on one of the abandoned cars and dissociate in peace. nas likes being alone most times, finding herself exhausted with playing up the part of the ‘overly cocky, fiery piece of shit’. shes tired, she wants to think in her head for once.

she doesnt think shes meant to be close to people, but finds herself comforted by the presence of either her current foster family, or leto.

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

nas is that mfer that mostly tries to be ‘annoyed’ by everything, but she finds a certain thing she enjoys from sitting calmly around ferdi and his friend group, feeling part of them and not judged at all. not having to put up such a big front. she wasnt used to it at first - even threatened by how easy going the group was, but its a god send. she just likes being considered, even if its tiny things like someone knowing shes allergic to cat fur

🌿 What way does your OC show that they care without using words? What way do others show your OC that they’re cared about without using speech?

nas does small stuff like get lil teeny dumb gifts that remind her of ppl. that or she does things for them like chores or handles whatever errands they need. shes normally pretty self serving and prone to pushing others away, feeling like shes going to just be a nuisance for them anyway. but once she stops being a little stupid brat, she does a lot more for them.

shes just a lil prone to being embarrassed if its brought up...

🌲 How deeply does your OC feel? Are they typically empathetic or do they have a hard time connecting with others in this way? What are they like when offering support and comfort to someone they care for?

uh... not. really. that’s the issue. being a tengu, she’s born without being able to feel in general - she CAN exhibit emotions and stuff, but its not like she knows what the hell it is. nas is constantly at odds with herself over the fact she cant be ‘normal’ like her bio parents tried to make her be.

she feels like she was broken from the start, and cant seem to understand how ferdi is so at peace with it (then again, shes too unempathetic to realize it wrecks his head too) that it honestly makes her go fucking HAYWIRE trying to be ‘normal’ but realizing she cant, but shell never feel comfortable just having no empathy. it fucking eats at her.

she tries. she does. when she stops pushing others away, she can be good at it. very awkward, but shes sorta like your weird lil sister this way. nas does all kinds of stuff to lessen one’s workload and can be pretty observant abt the things they like. shes really good at keeping ‘small’ details in mind abt other people. thats her love language, in a way.

🌼 Who are this characters friends and found family? How did they meet, how long have they been friends for, could they ever be something more than just friends? What do they look for in a friend or a romantic partner?

the closest is ferdi and his circle of friends. she was taken in by ferdi’s adoptive parents after being traded amongst other foster families and not being ‘easy’ to handle, due to her extreme self destructive tendencies. but when she realizes she could be accepted by this group, she hangs out a lot with uh

ferdi, chance, angel, leto, and gabi at the center. she and leto def have a closeness that wasnt expected because leto REALLY wanted to get to know her especially. she used to be super awkward around the boys but ferdi is able to get her to open up more. she also is good w/ tae rina and ay to an extent! nas tends to still be a bit abrasive but if she hurts anyone and shes told abt it, she tries small stuff to make up for it. especially to leto, since hes so emotionally turbulent.

🍁 Where does your OC go when they need to have some time to themself? Would they ever have their own “comfort corner” filled with all the things they like? Do they have a favourite spot outside that feels like its theirs and theirs alone?

kotone is very much an “isolate and never come out for two weeks” kinda person. her apartment in akatsuka is kinda dark in a way - very small and comfy, she keeps the curtains drawn and lights dimmed. she has a blanket nest on her couch and she hides under them and watches stuff or listens to music when she needs her off time.

for kotone i feel like its the beach. it’s simultaneously a negative / positive influence, considering she’s attempted there many times, but she always feels super peaceful sitting in the sand and watching the waves. she just shouldn’t be left near any cliffs overlooking the water.

🍂 Does your OC enjoy hugs? What do they do as a show of affection for: their friends, their family, their significant other(s) or for strangers? Over all what are they like with recieving affection from others?

kotone tends to flip between touch starved / touch repulsed, but she LOVES hugs. she absolutely loves jyushi’s big near-back breaking hugs. (i cant joke abt that he literally almost broke oso’s back in last week’s episode)

jyushi is very affectionate but good about her boundaries - esp when she comes back and she tries to open up better this time. she’s far more subtle in affection, holding his hand (or his sweater paw-) or brushing his hair out of his face. she just doesn’t take affection from strangers - she’s not comfy w/ it at all.

🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them

a soft spoken lil bean that has more worth to her than she thinks. her past might be ‘dubious’, but it’s not what makes her and she can grow from it. jyushi feels she’s a safe person, she cares more about others than herself to the point she could break her own heart if it’d make things better.

🌳 What is your OC’s favourite way to relax after a stressful day? Do they have a favourite book to curl up with? A hobby? Or do they have a nice bubble bath and have an early night to bed?

kotone just curls up and watches comforting anime or movies. she’s a lil bit of a dork? its very lowkey though from embarrassment. but kotone loves rewatching stuff like haibane renmei or any ghibli movie i feel. she also likes baking, sometimes shell make herself a whole batch of cookies and eat em in the bath while she plays on her switch or somethin.

you got sumiye for one. i feel like they were friends from elementary to high school, before sumi dropped out after her breakdown. they link up again when she reconnects with jyushi.

the brothers are most DEF like a found family - but she’s kinda scared of talking to them all at first because of how she left to try and recollect herself back in her hometown. but the brothers welcome her and i feel like she and oso have an unlikely friendship. oso knows her past but hes probably very sweet and soft about it, letting her know she isnt going to be judged or treated differently for it. jyushi is literally her sunshine though. my god. by saving his life, he saved hers, and shes grateful for it.

oh hell yea, w/ hawks :3c honestly i feel she didn’t even realize she was in love until he had to disappear for work related stuff (you determine if it’s shady or not-) and she started missing him a lot. probably for a while, though, their relationship goes a while before it’s serious in her eyes, but she absolutely adores and trusts this man and wants to do things right this time

♥ (04) Are there any romantic gestures that your OC hates?

she doesn’t like being put on the spot, like public proposals or being asked out in a big show in front of others. it makes her nervous, especially being a pro hero, she’s already got so many eyes on her. she just wants her relationships to be private and like a basic fact. not some big thing everyone has to know.

she also hates being interrupted by kisses. like if she’s trying to tell you something and you do that, she’ll be pretty grumpy.

through caring acts, she likes to make food or leave drinks or medicine or w/e else they need. she’s very subtle and sweet with her bigger ways she shows love. she wants her partner to be healthy and take care of themselves (even if she’s not so good at that for herself)

when it comes to family or friends, she’s a lot more noticeable in her gestures. she’s louder this way. actively protective and doting, more physically affectionate with hugs and cuddles. unless if youre aizawa. he. doesnt take that. lmfao

1. Do they like rain?

she fuckin LIVES for it. even before she became a siren, it was always her favorite type of weather. she likes big raging storms and likes how it unsettles the ocean. i imagine she had a good view of the ocean from her room and she’d watch it a lot. she probably had a little vanity sitting by the window so she’d do her makeup and listen to the rain. these days she likes how it feels, being out in the ocean while she gets rained on. and how it sounds from underwater

3. What do other people tend to think of them?

with her family, i feel no one... really liked her. cosette was too ‘hysterical’ to them and she was never the family favorite. far too wild and outspoken and got into shit too easily. so when the time came to get rid of her after she dug a little too deep into their secrets (whatever that is), it was too easy for them to just throw her out in the middle of sea and play it off like she just went missing.

as a siren, any person that’s noticed this stupid, chaotic lady will tell you first - ‘don’t listen to her”. she’s seen as a liar and the type to encourage discourse, but honestly people just don’t believe the things she says. so cosette makes a big show of tricking people passing by, either to drag them to sea like any other siren, or to scare them away, since she’s been treated so unfairly in the past

hmmm. messy, swoopy. big letters. i feel like her handwriting is pure garbage but it’s charming for that

alexei would be like “she’s so pretty and worldly and funny and i always want to play with her hair” i feel like he is just absolutely in love, big fluffy man nncnkcvnvc

... cosette has something and i’m not sure what it is. i feel like she’s very chaotic and... big? in how she expresses her feelings - sometimes things can be the end of the world for her and she isn’t good at controlling it. cosette handles things with literally no grace and it’s easy for her to feel like she’s being targeted. she may have some paranoia issues after what her parents did to her

20. Do they like the ocean? If they do, what do they like about it?

oh she’s always loved it. she finds comfort in the sounds and the smells, and how it looks at night. she used to wander the beaches near her home at night and dream of setting out far to see whats beyond the horizon

then her parents dumped her in the middle of the ocean to die.
