Yox are water-nocturne cryptids that spawn in swampy regions. They travel all around the world for the remainder of their lives at a slow, but steady pace. Their scales shine in iridescent colors only under moonlight and artificial light sources at nighttime, and they can cloak their presence around humans by rendering themselves nearly invisible. They can be found wandering in liminal spaces and hitching rides on trains and buses in silence.
