Step 18.1 Ten days and nights. The best minds of our company have been, in the bowels of our office, forging the scenario of the legendary quality for ten days and nights. As you have already understood, 6.5 minutes of the promo have been fit on fifty smooth, clean, of 11th printing type A4 sheets of paper
Step 18 - 6,5 minutes of an epic. Yes, we have decided to make a very risky move - we have approved the 6,5 minute’ length of our ICO main promo-video. It is very poorly for the promotion, but we have put our heart and soul into this promo and we hope that it will get you very far and keep your focus on it till the end.
Step 17.14 - Tools for CG. We created PROMO graphics, basically, with Softimage, visualizing it in RedShift and editing it in DaVinci Resolve. We made complex effects and simulations in SideFX Houdini, then, we either exported it or imposed it during post-processing.
Step 17.13 - CG for PROMO. Creating the graphics took most of the CRYPT PROMO working time. There were many difficulties on the way of graphics creation; however, as we create all graphics for our videos by ourselves, we have easily and quickly solved all the difficulties.
Step 17.12 - More than one hundred. Sleepless nights of efforts to describe in a written form all the emotions, intonation, rate and tone of recording have caused more than one hundred edits. Despite the language barrier, we have managed to evoke the narrator’s response.
Step 17.11 - Asynchronous. The most difficult problem of remote recording is asynchronous. That happens if narrator’s voice either lingers from the picture or, vice versa, passes it. That is a separate problem to explain to the narrator where and at what pace he is to record.
Step 17.10 - Only one narrator. We have tested more than 50 narrators, made more than 15 business deals with the top-rating narrators on Fiverr; we have spent several weeks on searching; as a result, we have found only one narrator.
Step 17.9 - The needed narrator. Fiverr.com has helped us a lot with the search of a native speaker, however, despite the qualitative ranking by rating and reviews, we had to spend an incredibly large amount of time and efforts to find the narrator we need.
