Rainbow Quartz Crystal Cluster Art

Crystals have an amazing energy and you’ll be surprised at it’s impact on you although subtle. Working with crystals for many years have definitely given me lots to work on in my life, and that’s why I value it so much and it’s now part of my life forever.

In my work, you will find lots of crystal artworks. And this Rainbow Quartz Crystal Cluster is my own version, done with Mijello Mission Gold watercolours with Faber-Castell’s Polychromos Colour Pencils (to add some definition). I have also uploaded a tutorial video on my Youtube channel showing the process of how this crystal art was done. So, you are welcome to watch it if you want to learn how to draw and paint crystals.

Crystal Cluster Watercolour Painting

Painting crystal clusters is now one of my favourite things to do. I have a deep obsession and love for crystals as I am a crystal collector. This artwork shows my deep passion for crystals. 

Crystals are known not just for its beauty, but also for its beautiful, vibrant, and inspiring energy it gives out. Although you can’t see this energy, you can most certainly feel it in other ways. I keep them with me at all times; I have it all around me and I most certainly carry it with me wherever I go to protect my aura and bring me wonderful luck. 

I make it a point to also surround my artworks with plenty of crystals so that they are infused with the crystal’s energy. So in whatever form my artworks are in, whether they are shown on social media or someone has them in their home, it is my hope that my artwork’s energy from the crystals can be felt by others or at least bring some love and inspiration to other people.

This particular piece was done on hot-pressed 100% cotton watercolour paper by Canson Heritage, using Winsor and Newton Cotman watercolours. I have also used Faber Castell’s Polychromos coloured pencils for added definition to the crystals.

Crystal Cluster art - Derwent Drawing pencils

This is my first crystal art using a colouring or drawing pencils. The pencils are by Derwent. It’s good to incorporate several layers of colours and blend them well, at least until you’re satisfied with it. Then I use a white gel pen to highlight the outline of the crystals so that they look more natural.

I drew and colour these on an A4 Artist’s Black paper, also by Derwent.

Crystal Cluster under a Green Moon Watercolour Painting

This art piece is my latest Crystal Cluster. Being a huge fan of crystals, I am also now obsessed with painting them! Did you know that crystal carry a wonderful vibration? Whenever I am creating art, I make sure that my art piece and paints are all surrounded by different kinds of crystals. I believe that it’s so important to put in good thoughts and energy into the work that you’re doing so that your work only reflects good vibrations.

Art piece was done on Canson Heritage 100% cotton watercolour paper, using Winsor and Newton Cotman watercolours.
