Casca rant?

I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED FANS TO START CARING ABOUT WOMEN!!!!!!!! So many deep dives into Guts’ and Griffith’s psyches and motivations and traumas and tragedies and yet there are so precious few fan works about Casca who is at the heart of it all. She IS the heart of it all!!!!!

I fully understand and agree with the sentiment of her treatment in the narrative being misogynistic at times, especially post-Eclipse, but like come onnnnnnn we can still talk about her. We can still speculate about her when the source material wouldn’t. Regardless of whether you think her Fridging was a purposeful expression of misogyny or a purposeful expression of trauma or something in the middle, worse-written nothing ass dude characters have been explored and analyzed to death. Casca fans have been holding their own on their own for decades. Care about women. “Guts needs to kill Griffith at the end!!!” What about Casca???? If anyone deserves the final blow I think it’s her. Enough about manpain. If it’s going in that direction, how about we let a woman kill her rapist.

Also. Studio Gaga you need to let Casca rip and tear and be a person again please and thank you

One of my favorite pet little headcanons is that Riza has a "secret" sweet tooth. She's not really hiding it, per se, but it doesn't come up naturally because she's so private about everything, and it's a bit unexpected from someone perceived as so serious. There wasn't money for many treats during her childhood so now she stares wistfully into bakeries and candy shops even as an adult. Imagine her with a little fancy tea cake and her eyes so big and shining.
