I found some old Crystal Grumps doodles from last year that I never posted here. Welp, better late than never.

I use to draw Crystal Grumps a lot in 2015 (crystal gem AU of game grumps). When Brian joined the Grumps, I made an AU for my AU for some Crystal Grump shenanigans, but then it reminded me of how messed up my normal AU is when it came to Brian and Dan lmao.

In my take on the AU (that is not written anywhere), Brian is mentally corrupt, and it is slowly eroding his physical form. Dan is his only friend in the world and didn’t want him to see him when the inevitable happens, and ran away shortly after they met the other Crystal Grumps.

In the AU of my AU, Brian isn’t corrupt and stays with Dan, and hanging with everyone eventually makes him comfortable enough to remove his mask and start actually talking.

just stops bubbling after a while. bloodstone smooths down his shirt and his hair, stands up. sniffles a little and wipes away his tears."A-alright. You called?"
