Here are two unfinished frames from a short video that I’m working on. I really just felt like showing Ms. Cloudia Skye being a good mom to her (slightly spooky) son. She’s so unprepared, but she’s trying her best 🥺

Extra Trivia!

☁️Wally literally arrived on her doorstep in a baby carriage (a homage to the classic stork trope in old cartoons).

☁️Cloudia is black-coded.

☁️This is set roughly 20 years before the canon setting of Welcome Home, so the 1950′s.

☁️Wally’s legal name after being adopted by Cloudia was “Wallaby Skye”, but Wally changed it to “Wally Darling” as an adult because Cloudia would often say variants of “Wally, darling,” when talking to him.

☁️Cloudia mysteriously disappeared just after Wally announced that he was moving into a new home.

Y'all ever post a weak chapter on purpose? Like "This chapter feels low in activity, but if I don't put this in the story, the plot won't make sense" or worse "This chapter feels awkward in some places, but I can't think of how to fix them"

I'm not sure if Doc has a canon personality established already, but for my fic, I just went with the "stubborn and suspicious" type, mostly for plot reasons.

The first interaction between Pom Pom and Ted probably went like this. Well, at least Tankgirl gets a break from him for a while now that there's another gal on the team.

Dang, how many times can I redesign the same characters?

Well, I guess it's because merging my art style with Madness Combat's grunts took up most of my time drawing. Then I also had to try not to make the characters look too stylized since the main genre of the fic I'm writing is horror.
