In my Crystal Hearts AU, Lord Chilled plays a significant role! His past actions have a larger impact than perceived, and his family that he wanted to warn with his dying breath is dived deeper into.

Chilled's character is barely explored at all and I personally adore his short king vibes to absolute bits. He seems like the type of man to be serious and bloodthirsty on the field, but when around his loved ones, he could be a goofy father who would do anything for his family, and I mean anything. Being a powerful space pirate has perks.

I believe the reason why he refused to run from Bardock, even after the so-called "Saiyan" was proving too much to handle, is because if he fled he would either disgrace his family or potentially invite the danger to their door, which is why he put everything he had on the line to the point that it killed him.

In this AU, Chilled is explored to have a secret soft side that only his family had the honor of experiencing. All other races, including Chilled's own army, saw only his cold-hearted exterior and tyrannical rule. He almost never spoke of his family in public (for the sake of their protection), and any who mentioned them in front of him were at risk of being blown up. It was only when Chilled knew he was a goner that he risked pleading to his soldiers to warn his family about the Super Saiyan threat.

Here is Chilled's wife, Queen Icicull! She is/was the last remaining female of Frieza's race, and she gave birth to King Cold himself. I designed her to look like Frieza's 3rd form because his first form looks akin to Chilled, his 2nd to Cold, so his 3rd had to be modeled after another family member! And the Queen Xenomorph look is freaking eye candy. Frieza and Cold also got their Mutant Genetics from Icicull, not Chilled.

Chilled and Icicull were madly in love with each other, their relationship was very Jessica and Roger Rabbit styled.

Here are their 7 beautiful children (yeah, full house, but when you are a family with the last surviving female of your race you do what you gotta do)!

Firstborn: Prince Glacior - Glacior is Lord Chilled's firstborn son, named after Chilled's father. Glacior is a loud and aggressive child willing to protect his family with his strength and tackles problems with his horns. He feels like he has a lot to live up to as firstborn, so he does everything in his power to impress his parents and earn his mighty name. However, Glacior has a secret soft side. He adores animals and children, but he feels embarrassed expressing it so he keeps his softness private. Secondborn: Prince Shard - The most intelligent of the siblings (as well as the father of Cryst), Shard prefers knowledge as power, and would rather study than spar. His brothers often teased him for being a nerd, but Shard rarely expressed irritability towards his siblings. He deeply loves his family and would do anything for them, but his curiosity leads him to "forbidden knowledge" of other races and their culture, planting seeds of empathy in the scientist's heart that causes him to silently grieve for their misfortune when his family benefits from their suffering. Thirdborn: Prince Glayz - A man who suffers from unforgiving insomnia, Glayz is constantly tired and needing naps throughout the day. He's a light sleeper, so it's a challenge sneaking up on him while he's dozing. He's almost always in a sour, prickly mood, but is calm and content when in a quiet place to rest. He's a decent fighter and will stay awake long enough to put a threat out of commission, but he normally needs backup to watch his back when exhaustion creeps up on him. Fourth/Fifthborn: The Twin Princes - Frosbit and Frosbur - The ultimate pranksters of the family, Frosbit and Frosbur always added some extra spice and flavor to "family outings" and around the home. Their endless supply of jokes and jabs kept the siblings on their toes, but all of the twin's devious deeds were done in good spirit. Frosbit is a big fan of food and drink, benefiting the family by seeking out the greatest tasting delicacies. Frosbur is a dirty fighter, always using underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand against opponents (the more severe cases against non-family members), and he often trash talks to throw off his company. Sixth Born: Prince Glitz - The drama queen of the family, Glitz knows how to throw his flair for the good of style and his family. He adores wealth and rarities, always seeking the prettiest of jewelry to decorate his collection and provide extra comfort to his parents/siblings. He has a bit of a hoarding problem and has trouble saying no to something he wants, and oftentimes his siblings joke about him being their family "Princess" due to how feminine and over-the-top his theatrics are. He also cries easily when moved by beauty, but unlike his other siblings, takes full pride in the diamonds that shed from his eyes. Seventh Born (Youngest): Cold

- We know him, we love to hate him, but boy do we not understand just how deeply this man's evil runs in his veins. King Cold was born with an odd mutation that gave him a bigger power boost over his older siblings, and despite being showered with love and appreciation everyday, he showed barely any reception to it, only interested in the gifts/treatment that benefited him. He grew up spoiled, doted on by his parents that praised him for his power, causing many of his brothers to be jealous. Cold was named because of how cold his demeanor was, from a lack of fear to a steely-cold and calculated gaze that pierced through the hearts and minds of everyone who interacted with him. Ever since Chilled's death, Cold's psychopathic traits spiraled deeper into a frozen heart that couldn't be thawed by his family's lingering warmth, and pretty soon his frost spread through their entire kingdom, snuffing the love that once defined the Chilled legacy. Most of it, that is.

Guys, this Dragon Ball Z/Super fan idea is a HUGE favorite of mine, regarding the counterpart energy displayed between the well-known Universe 7 and its mysterious twin, Universe 6. We all know that Lord Frieza's "fake twin" is Lord Frost, aka the "lesser" of the two, except Frost deserves to have his own older sibling and long-lost cousin like Frieza! Aka, the Universe 6 Counterparts of Cooler and my OC, Cryst!

Meet Coolant (Frost's secret older sister and U6 counterpart of Cooler) and Crisp (Frost's long-lost cousin and U6 counterpart of Cryst)!!!

Coolant: Similar to Lord Cooler from Universe 7, Coolant is highly intelligent and has little tolerance for nonsense, cutting straight to the point in conversation and is not afraid to speak her mind. However, unlike Cooler, she has little taste for dominance and violence, preferring the quiet life as a librarian where books and knowledge are her main source of control. She hates the public spotlight, and her vision is pretty bad for her kind, so she needs special glasses to see fully. She can defend herself effectively (if need be), beautifully graceful and precise in movements and targeting the weak points of an opponent with sharp paralyzing jabs. She doesn't stoop down to dirty methods like her younger brother and is sometimes the one making antidotes for his poison.

- Frost and Coolant care deeply for each other, but unfortunately their chosen paths in life caused them to diverge, Frost pursuing a life of false glory and thievery while Coolant sticks to her books. Frost chooses to avoid his sister and not mention her existence for her own safety and protection, guilty that he's fallen so deep into the pit he dug for himself. Coolant feels guilty that she couldn't foresee the warning signs Frost was tripping over as they survived childhood together, having only each other to rely on in the arms of poverty. Frost got himself mixed with pirates to make ends meet for their struggles, Coolant believing he was doing good deeds because he framed it as such. In the events of the TOP in the anime, when his dirty deeds were revealed across the 6th universe, he ran even further away from his sister because he couldn't bear to see her reaction to his lies, nor could he drag his shadows into her peace.

Crisp: The Universe 6 counterpart of my OC, Cryst, Crisp is a wholesome young lad who senses the cravings of people's hearts rather than their emotions. Crisp is a chonky lad because he's a passionate cook and a passionate eater, his body pretty much stuffed with overflowing Ki reserves from all the food he prepares and eats. Crisp can even conjure meals on the spot similar to how Piccolo conjures clothes with magic, except Crisp only conjures food or cooking tools! Crisp is a little naiver than Cryst and believes anyone can be satisfied with a good meal, and he's not much of a warrior because of how little he participates in physical activity. Crisp has yet to reunite with his long-lost cousins, Frost and Coolant, as he too was sent away by their family due to some unforeseen political threat towards the royal heads, and Crisp was raised somewhere savory where his cooking potential could be honed to the highest degree. To this day, Crisp still cooks and fills the hearts and tummies of both friend and foe alike, blissfully oblivious to his royal status.

- The trio, Crisp/Frost/Coolant, are all royalty to an important family of their race, but something happened that forced their guardians to send the children away before they could be threatened. Frost and Coolant grew up orphans, Coolant turning to knowledge while Frost turned to piracy, Crisp meanwhile turning to culinary arts.

What will it take to reunite this oddly matched family trio? Is hope lost for Frost and his family? The answer will occur in my Fanfic Comic AU, Crystal Hearts! Stay tuned...
