haha no tumblr just decided i was and they’re relatable to me most of the time so i reblogged them. currently i am thinking of my utdr and tsp crossover. however!! i will not pass up this opportunity.

hmm… who should i talk about this time… *shuffles papers* ah, sure, Lotus

Lotus is a character who was just supposed to be Nox’s (from dimension jumper) mother. However, when I was consumed by Appetite of a People Pleaser, I decided to base her backstory on that and she is now going to be a part of Crystalshade.

Essentially, she got lost in the multiverse and met Iifu, who was recruiting people for his new world jumping group, the [name in progress]. He took advantage of her being at a lost and miserable place and wrapped her around his finger. She tries desperately to make everyone happy and loses both herself and her home world in the multiverse.

When the [name in progress] disbanded, she was lost for a while. Eventually, she landed in a world, and a man around her age, Grynn, was kind to her. They fell in love and on their honeymoon, she smashed her Crystalline (item that let her jump worlds) and made sure she could never put it back together. She wears it as a necklace, still, to remind herself of her past.

She can’t have kids, so she adopts Vivi and Nox with Grynn and they raise them together. Nox remembers the system more than Vivi and is cold to people he doesn’t know, but Vivi is sweet as she was a baby when she was adopted and doesn’t remember what happened before. A few years after that she meets the player of Dimension Jumper and after they leave she always wonders what came of them.

But she’s happy in this world, even if isn’t her home one.

(It is. She just doesn’t remember.)
