Kuchiki didn’t look too happy. The Captain sets down his pen and looks up at her, offers the most polite smile he can.

“Care for a seat?” He offered, before patiently returning to his work. She’d likely speak about why she came in time, but for now he’d get some paperwork in, do his job. His silence was only broken by the periodic scratching of his pen, eyes focused on his work.
