What do slink babies look like? Fresh hatched I mean. 🤔

Though Palm Slinks look very much like new slinklettes (pictured below)…

…here’s a quick sketch of an actual brandy-new slinklette! They’re little nubs with stubby leggies and dainty hand-feet. They usually hatch out of their eggs beeping and flickering and kicking with their springy back legs. Generally, they’ve already opened their eyes a day or two after hatching. It won’t be long before they start trying to play! Make sure to keep them toasty and safe!

... Reminds me that I still kinda miss rp, though. A little sheepish of not-so-private fantroll rp nowadays due to a lot of questionable events and people making me wary, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to write more again. Used to be a huge part of my life.

Ramble ramble and several degrees of separation away, but I HAVE been considering writing short stories that take place within Myriaverses. Hm. c:

As an Extremely Lesbian Lesbian with High Lesbian Energy, I’ll give you my Lesbian Wisdom of the day.Considering yourself a lesbian should be a tool of good to help you find people of similar proclivities to you and -never- be a restriction on your personality! You don’t have to be “femme” or “butch” or anything, really. Just be you! Be a good person and strut your fine ass stuff!This wisdomTM also applies to all other genders. Don’t feel that being a “man” has to involve being “manly” or that being a “woman” involves being “womanly”. Nobody has to take an ultra-specific role in a relationship either. Even if you’re gay as can be, there’s never any need nor pressure to have a “wife” and “husband” analogue in the union.... Okay! That is my lesbian wisdom for the day. c;

hiya! havent talked to you in a while so i figured i'd take the opportunity to ask how you and the wifey doing? :D

Oh hey there! We've been doing pretty well, thank you! Poor like usual, but a bit less so after some nice folks either commissioned or gave us a hand directly (thank you to any of those people reading this by the way <3). Had a very nice day yesterday after being invited to a small family dinner at a restaurant and taking a cold, brisk night walk around a local shopping center. Even snagged a tillandsia of some sort for $5 as a treat! I haven't owned one in years and have always wanted to try keeping one again. Also got a $4 ivy with the weirdest leaf shape I've seen in person. They're like.... Crinkly circles....

Aside from that, the winter's been cold, the fish have been swimming, our cat has been purring, our plants have been growing, and things are overall peaceful. Currently @altamaranempire and I are almost done with her immigration process FINALLY which means less money being semi-regularly yanked out of us. Phew. All that's left is to either get called to another interview, or if we get super lucky, to get a notification that the application has been approved. Fingers crossed it's done sooner rather than later!

Feeling like answering asks

Just hanging out in bed on the phone right now and am in the mood to write a little. Totally open to asks about me, my characters (fanon or original verse versions of characters can be specified too), my art, or my world builds. <3

10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?

- Khatai hasn’t had a lot of experience with children, but he understands they’re dumb little shits that he has to be gentle with because they don’t necessarily know better. This comes in handy when kids inevitably climb him like a kiddie-sized mountain of muscle and fat. Though he doesn’t HAVE any kids, per se, he’s fucked enough people in his life that there’s definitely a lot of his genetics floating around in the population. I imagine, if he had a patient enough partner who knew their way around kids, he’d grow to be a hands-off but competent parent or guardian.20. Do they like musicals? Music in general? What do they do when their favourite song comes?

- He generally ONLY likes musicals if he can make fun of them with a highblood friend; they strike him as really over the top a lot of the time, which is what makes them easy for him to quietly ridiculte for his enjoyment. As for music in general, Khatai’s favorite music is R&B and Hip-hop from the Troll!90’s with an occassional smattering of Pop. He’ll probably get a taste for more modern examples of those genres in short order. He’s not afraid to bob his head and chill out when his tunes come on; driving to his favorite music in a low-riding vehicle is one of life’s pleasures for him.30. Do they exercise? Regularly? Or only when forced? What do they act like pre-work out and post-work out?

- Khatai used to fight all the time and train during longer spans inbetween battles, which pretty much counted as his exercise. Since he thawed out, Khatai hasn’t really been keeping up with this, but it’s not going to be long before he gets back into a routine once he finds some sentients to wreck. The only change in behavior between pre and post work-out are that he’s usally SUPER HUNGRY afterwards, which is when he tends to cram in the food to keep himself from getting rage-munchies.40. Do they like energy drinks? Coffee? Sugary food? Or can they naturally stay awake and alert?

- Being a Subjug has made Khatai into a junk food shoveling , sugar sucking, carb chomping, faygo fellating, sopor slurping monster. These things don’t seem to do much to him, though; he’s a highblood who’s built up a disturbing tolerance to all of them. In the end of it all, he’s pretty much just average at keeping alert. When it’s daytime, he gets tired, and when it’s nightime, he gets active. No normal amount of commercial drug or amount of sugar is going to change that, unless he’s lost his touch after being frozen for so long…50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?

- He’d pack basic survival items (food, water, etc.), flint he could use to start a fire with, bandages, some kind of antiseptic, a bedroll, a washboard, a weapon, and Troll!Shrek Twinkies if there was space (they contain both carbs AND sopor. Perfect). The things he considers essentials are almost completely stuff you’d need on a military campaign, which make sense because that’s what he did for a living anyways.
