Chicken Soup for the Soul || Hazel & Nash
Hazel smiled as she carefully grabbed the pot of chicken noodle soup as she put on her oven mitts to make sure she could carry it comfortably. She had put the cookies and pie in her bag as she had it neatly put in a backpack so that she could carry everything comfortably. She smiled widely as she had her little bow in her hair. Bows made her happy as she walked out of her apartment trying to figure out how to lock the door as she frowned. She wasn’t used to having to lock things up, someone always did that for her, or she was coming back as she finally put the pot down and locked the door before walking towards Nash’s room. She didn’t know the boy that well, but she was glad to be hanging out with someone. It was lonely being by herself.
Still she called her father once a day as he told her too, and still was hesitant about getting a puppy as her father told her that it wasn’t good and she shouldn’t do it. She hated the idea of going against him, hating the idea that she might make someone angry, but she knew that she really wanted to at least try to get the dog as she finally made it to Nash’s apartment before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door. She let herself in worrying about him as she made her way to his kitchen to put the heavy pot down as she sighed in relief tired of caring it. She turned on the stove as she put the pie on the counter as well as the cookies and looked for a bowl to serve it with as she finally found one and took out her ladle as well as the crackers she brought, she was told that if she was going to do anything she had to prepare for it 100%, as she finally had it done and she smiled as she walked over to the couch. “Hey Nash.” She smiled at him as she set down the soup and the crackers. “I’ll get you some medicine hold on! And some water!” She hopped up as she ran around grabbing the other things as she sat back down and smiled at him. “Homemade chicken noodle soup! I hope this helps.” She smiled at him worried if he’d like it or not. What if he didn’t?
