Any time I see someone who kins ctommy and cshlatt I’m like “dam you have horrible luck with partys”

while i know he was meant to be a sort of catch all for satirising for self obsessed power hungry conservative political figure, cShlatt really reminds e of Senator Josep McCarthy. Down to dieing due to his own alcoholism as his power fell apart around him.

both of them used fear of an 'other' (wilbur for shlatt, communists for McCrathy) which did exist but not in the way they where convinced. they both failed to hold on to power as they became more and more blood-thirsty and stupid.

also making McCarthy of the Hayse code & hollywood blacklist fame gay is realy fucking funny.
