Nayuta is not Makima.

And it's in the most beautiful way.

Nayuta is so emotive, happy, loud, and a brat. But she's allowed to be all those things. This is all stark contrast to Makima's cold, manipulative, and aloof behavior. Yeah, its in the control devils name and nature to be controlling. However "control" is a concept and choosing what you control is motivated by your environment. Nayuta is controlling through love. She's possessive, yes, however she's doing this to protect what she loves rather than to completely control them ("Denji, every woman you meet tries to kill you, huh").

Denji did a wonderful job raising her and seeing this difference is just the proof.

CSM #120 SPOILERS

Man, I was so afraid Nayuta was gonna be like Makima, that I did not see it coming that she would turn out to be such a brat! Denji was not kidding when he called her a problem child.

She is still controlling af, but she's obviously not that manipulative, and is easily pleased.

Maybe cause she is still, very clearly, a spoiled child. Makima, if she grew up with a doting caretaker. I love her.

Chp. 120 spoilers

I guess this Valentine’s Day we’ll be having a love triangle of sorts. First we get Nayuta turning Asa into one of her dogs and banning Denji from seeing her which is understandable from a younger sister prospective. Being a younger sister myself, I would do the exact same thing if my brother had a track record like Denji

And all she wants is to have ice cream and for Denji not to get friendly with her. I also think that Nayuta can smell that Yoru is a part of Asa. She can probably do the same thing that Makima could do with smelling people to identify them (i.e. when Denji figured out that Makima could only smell Chainsawman and not him).

Asa, once again, denying the feelings that she has for Denji in favor of just saying she was using him. She’s literally like Megara from Hercules during the song I won’t say I’m in love. It’s so frustrating but in a strangely cute way. And with Yoru knowing that Asa’s answer was complete and utter bullshit.

Also Yoshida pulling up to see if Asa was okay after she thinks that she was stood up by Denji. He’s definitely up to something. Maybe he could be planning on using her to kill Fami or something crazy like that, but this boy will never be able to defend himself from those villain accusations. At least he’s got those pretty boy vibes going for him.

I really love this character can’t wait for next week’s chapter.

I thought Fujimoto would make it straight and Yoshida would be Asa's other "love interest". No. Yoshida is Denji's second love interest.
