Chapter 167 is actually fantastic & in line with what Fujimoto's been building up to this point. Even better if it hard filters moonbrained people who have somehow missed all the sexual trauma Denji's endured up to this point. i know it's not usually my thing to comment on what other people say and do online but i'm genuinely disgusted by how some csm fans reacted to the new chapter. i know opinions vary and tbh everyone is free to interpret it however they want. but seeing comments like "csm is at its peak", "denji finally got what he wanted", "at least he got kissed without vomit", "i was genuinely shocked and happy for denji this chapter" and "wish that was me" left by mostly men under reels shows how little understanding they have when it comes to SA. of course, let's joke and giggle about it cause it's very funny☝🏻😬

i think in a way fujimoto is trying to raise awareness of some issues through denji and it's sad to see that most people completely miss the point of certain chapters.

im not saying that fujimoto is showing us that these kind of people get punished eventually, like karma or something, but its interesting to think that everyone who played a major role in breaking denji mentally, like, those who manipulated and assaulted him, making him the way he is today, has died

no cus the sexual content wasn't fanservice and used for denjis character development and other stuff, so while it was strange in some scenes i didnt mind it that much

but honestly idk how fujimotos gonna make this relevant to the plot or if he is at all cus like this is so uneeded and now denji thinks asa's the one who sa'ed him bc he doesn't know ab yoru
