The command module of Apollo 8 spacecraft (CM-103) being lowered into the altitude chamber at Manned Spacecraft Operations Building, Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
"The spacecraft will undergo rigorous testing before it is finally mated to its Saturn V launch vehicle for launching later this year. It will be the first Apollo to fly with men aboard a Saturn V. The crew will be Astronauts Frank Borman, James A. Lovell, Jr., and William A. Anders.”
