Like my first rep looks like it won’t break the ground for a second, then reps 2-8 just fly. I’m not complaining tho 🤷🏽♂️ • Le shenanigans: First clip: top set of 8x8 w/ 190kg/418.95lbs, beltless and ez. 🍑 Third clip: 7th set of 8 w/ 185kg/407.9lbs. Sexual. Second clip: Throw⬅️ 3 months ago, May 4. Same top set weight at 190kg/ 418.95 lbs, but it was my top set of 4x7, and with a belt too, mind you. Reps looked way slower , didn’t look as easy and weren’t as explosive as what I’m doing now. I was also around 175ish then, and I just weighed 167.8 this morning. Gains. Again, just do what your coach tells you. • On a note of doing what your coach says, I USED TO go off program sometimes (when I first started) and maxed out when I wasn’t supposed to. Twas no bueno, and you don’t make gains like that. So save the PR or ER for the platform. Thank me later. Again, just listen to your coach (and make sure you get a good one that you’re happy with; but don’t get one that does easy programming. A good coach should push you to your limits without breaking you. If they’re pushing you, they love you and want you to become better.
