Today’s giveaway comes thanks to the brilliant @christinekalafus who imagines creative ideas floating like bubbles on the wind, some of them slipping in her window, landing on her at her writing desk. @elizabethgilbert has shared a similar idea, as have a famous songwriter or two whose names escape me at the moment. Thanks to Christine, whose sweet drawing could just as easily illustrate creative ideas floating out her window into the world, I am struck with the thought that maybe we are all sources bubbling with creative brilliance. Maybe our creativity works like comic improv, a giant game of “Yes, and” where we receive but also elaborate and pass on.
