So, I came out to my eye doctor today that I've gone to since I've been in preschool...

I showed him a picture of Tina on my phone, and he asked if she was the person who came to my appointment last summer.

I told him yes and he goes: Good, she's a cute girl.  Pretty nice too from what I remember.  You're moving out by her eventually right? You'd like California.

Then he saw my ring and goes, "And she has good taste.  Tell her hi."

Sometimes, I really like people.

Swelling must have gone down a bit from my surgery. My ring fits again!

Mom: *mocking the commercial* What's in your wallet?

Me: Condoms.

Mom:

Me:

Mom: Why are you wasting money on condoms? Does Tina know you're doing that? You're a bad lesbian.

I wish I could gif real life/be prepared to actually record these moments of gold...

My cat is batting around my dog's bone on the wood floor, sliding around himself because he's going so fast he cannot stop, and then nearly took a header into the television cabinet.

That didn't stop him...he's still playing with the bone.

My dog's just laying on the couch and watching him.

This is a girlfriend appreciation post.

My anniversary presents from my girlfriend came!

Fortunately, I managed to contain myself enough to not tackle the mailperson when my package was dropped off.  My dad was coming inside the house at the time and teased me by passing out all the other mail first before handing me the gift.

At least it wasn't as taped as the gift that I sent to Tina.  I still managed to fail getting it open at first because I was so excited...

First, I pulled out the two cards.  This one was my favorite.  It's basically Tina and I in cat form (especially if one of the cats dropped an iPhone on the other one).

I am so excited for this one! Although, as an English Major, I have an obsession with not cracking the spines of books.  That might be the most difficult page for me to do.

Girlfriend made comments about envelopes within envelopes that I sent her.  Well, this was two envelopes surrounding my gift inside inside of an envelope inside of the largest envelope.  And she told me I was doing overkill... ;-)

But it was worth it.

And then there was this...I now understand what Tina found so funny.

We bought each other the same fucking ring.  I was looking at like, ten different rings to pick one for her.  I chose this one because it was the infinity symbol (like always) and we tend to say that to each other.  Great minds think alike.

At least we both know that A. we have good taste in rings and B. the other person will clearly like the ring.

My hair is not combed. I am sorry for not being sorry.
