Woot! Woot! CTN is over and boy was it an awesome weekend! I met a ton of really wonderful new faces and saw some good friends from college and my home town, Georgia. It was great! Out of everything though the very best thing was everyone’s *support*. It was pretty cool to sell out of so many things. Am I cool or something? Haha. This is news to me!
I have been incredibly lucky this past year to table at 5 cons (or maybe 6 if I’m forgetting one??) and my boyfriend and family have been very supportive of me trying to figure out what it is that I want to do, and that is children’s and book illustration <3 <3 As for next year I’m going to keep it to only two conventions (Wondercon and Designer Con) because things just get really crazy and hectic with the constant tabling and I was just too overwhelmed to create art or work on anything for myself.
Many people have asked me over the past 3-4 months general advice on tabling at cons, so later this week I will be putting together a mini how to/survivalist guide that past me might have appreciated before tabling.
Please forgive me for all of the run on sentences. My brain is still short circuiting a little bit. It was such a busy weekend!!! <3 you all that stopped by and said hi!!
