A low whine escapes him, face scrunched in distaste as he stamps a little in his spot. He knows he’s being childish, but Taehyung can’t help it when Yoongi has that look on his face – the one that screams judgement and second-hand embarrassment. He knew the things he did raised a few brows here and there, whether it be something he’s done or said, possibly even wore. Today, it probably was a solid combination of all three. Taehyung decided to go out in his loose pants that he knew the other hated with a strong passion. On top of that, he was causing a scene with the way he was acting up (which may have gotten a few looks). The thing that started it all though was Taehyung excitedly shouting for Yoong across the pet store.

The taller makes his way over to his best friend, hooking their arms together as his lips were still down turned into a frown. “I said so! You could never leave me, what would you do without me in your life?” He gives the other puppy dog eyes, blinking twice to try to seem extra cute. “Besides, I was trying to show you this puppy. It chose me! We have to take it home!”

　　　　　　　　There’s no doubt that he didn’t see that coming from a mile away, allowing his arm to be fully pulled into a lock with the youngers’ he didn’t exactly mind it. their heights weren’t THAT much of a big deal, he tried to tell himself even when his head always tilted upwards in a SLIGHT direction to look at taehyungs’ features. ❝I don’t know, probably live life normally? be in bed right now and probably taking a long snooze down in dreamland where it’d be nothing but pure bliss.❞ The older teases, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips and yoongi is taking a couple of matching steps with him as hes’ pulled a long the street, the eyes that had followed them only lasts a couple more seconds and they’re back to being caught up in hanging out together ― except, this really wasn’t apart of the plan. passing by a pet store, oh no, he knows exactly what is running through taehyungs’ head by just one glimpse at the glass and back towards his friend.

　　　　　　　　❝Tae, we can’t.❞ they could, the younger HAD money but thats’ the thing, he SHOULDN’T carelessly spend it and from what he knows of, he didn’t, right? spending money on countless amount of food wasn’t being that reckless. ❝your dad will kill you if he finds out you decided to buy another puppy, besides, you still have a kitten that’s barely even one, she’ll get upset if you already buy another baby.❞ nice save, he thinks ― but it could always backfire, taehyung had his ways but the blue haired male would try his best to be firm, it’s not like he wasn’t wrong about his father being upset by his sons’ reckless life choices in another furbaby.

Huh? Are you sure a certain someone isn’t going to come after me and murder me if I did that?❞ He couldn’t help himself, his lips are pressed tightly together to try and not laugh.

yoongi was laying flat on his back with his phone held up over his face within his line of sight. the soft weight of taehyung’s head didn’t bother him as he continued to move through the stories publish with the flick of his long fingers. he had just finish reading through the article and heard taehyung’s voice chime in inquiry. he didn’t believe the article himself yet a lot of things didn’t surprise him, people would write anything for a story “it says the new trend is using squid ink to dissolve ear wax.” he spoke again now really questioning the validity since it sounded weird to taehyung as well. “I don’t think so? But sounds like something some would do.”

　　　　　　　　Brows pinch inwards as his stare had lingered on the younger of the two, it was a unfortunate thing to see someone in such a state and he understood it well; just because jaehwan came off as thick skinned, didn’t mean he didn’t have his own moments of doubt, they happened more often than not, but he was the type of person that easily got over it, even if it’d be short lived. following forth with his hand motion, the older reaches out to take hold of his, settling down next to taehyung and holding onto his hand, being the support that he needed. even if the two hadn’t been in contact much, it always came down to the moments when a friend needed him the most that he’d instantly give in and be there to take care of them. ❝Of course.❞ he voices, nodding to show he meant what he said. ❝you might not think it, but even a cry baby can be the strongest person out of many who hold back to show any emotion. it doesn’t make you weak if you have self-doubt or if you’re overwhelmed and cry about it, it just means you’re a stronger person being able to show how you feel. that teach you that it’s the opposite way around but it’s really not, that shit ain’t healthy.❞
