Hi there! My friend and I were talking about we were wondering if you would be setting anything up at Arch Anime this year? It's a really small convention, but they hold it in the same place as ASTL.
I really enjoyed Arch Anime last year, so I’d like to! I’ll keep you all posted, don’t worry.
When are you guys planing your next meet up? I missed the last one.
Hi there! I’m hoping to run a small collection at Archon (Oct 3-5) and possibly Anime Getaway (Oct 25). Our next big event will be a costume prom on November 22nd — details are coming very soon! -Kay
Hello, this is Zee from AnimeSTL (I was Cas on saturday) So I talked to my superiors at the Shakespeare Festival about having you guys come and have a table at the festival, and thy said that sorry but that's just not the kind of thing that they do, they wish that they could help out but if they let one organization like this come then everyone is going to ask. I'm really sorry it didn't work out. Sorry again! -Zee
Hey, nothing to apologize for! I appreciate you asking. <3 -Kay
Hi! I'm a teen in the St. Louis area, and I'm kind of new to the Homestuck fandom. I think I know what Can Town Project is, but I'm not entirely sure so can you explain it please? Plus, I've never really been to a big meet up like this, and I would really like to go! The problem is my parents. I don't know I can convince them to let me go. I also don't have any friends that like Homestuck, so I would probably go alone. Any advice would be great!
Hi there, and welcome to Homestuck! The Can Town Project official tumblr can probably give a better synopsis than I can, but tl;dr is that we get a bunch of fandomers together, collect canned goods (and other nonperishable or personal hygiene items) and donate them to a local food pantry.
We’re multifandom, so even if you haven’t finished reading the comic, please know that you’re absolutely welcome at our events. Your non-Homestuck friends should definitely feel free to hang out with us! We’re a diverse group with many interests, and while Promstuck is going to be MSPA themed, of course, we’ll have activities that will appeal to everybody.
We have quite a few parents who’ve volunteered to chaperone the event — we’re running it very much like a school dance. If your parents have any questions, let them know they can contact us at cantownstlouis[AT]gmail.com so we can address their concerns.
Good luck, and fingers crossed that you’ll get to go! :D

Can we come dressed as our own homestuck oc's? Or ourselves in homestuck themed dress? I'm so nervous! TuT
COME AS YOU ARE
AS YOU WERE
AS I WANT YOU TO BE! (which is comfortable, enthusiastic, and relaxed)
When/Where should we drop these things off? ((Sorry if you posted about this already.)) VuV
Just bring them to the Can Town meet, 3PM on Saturday in Clinton (at the Doubletree hotel). If you can show up sliiiiightly before the panel, that’d help! :D Please give us an estimate for how much the donations are worth, so we know what to start the bidding at. Thanks!
What kind of stuff would be good to bring for the auction?
Anything that’s Safe For Work and in good condition! Plush toys, DVDs, books, games, collectibles, cosplay items (NOT Homestuck, we are not allowed to sell Homestuck items under any circumstances), whatever! Thank you :)
