too canon i fear
Wizard distilling wizard jaeger
Everyone thinks it’s meant for a rager
But it is low proof and sweet to savor
Not as hard as everclear that hits like a taser
It’s a licorice potion that few truly favor
But this wizard does like the wizard jaeger
Gax plssss🙏🙏🙏
george russell as double gloucester & max verstappen as jägermeister
notes:
double gloucester is a strong, firm cheese that gets it color from the wildflower lady's bedstraw (Galium verum). it more well-known than its sister variety, single gloucester, yet unlike single, it has no PDO status
jägermeister is known as a potent, intense liqueur, but it actually has quite a nuanced flavor with sweet, savory, and spicy notes. it is often combined with red bull -- the caffeine enhances its intoxicating effect
these are two of the boldest flavors with the strongest effects, and it is reasonable to think they might clash. however, in the right amounts, they bring out the pleasantly savory, floral notes in each other
serving:
make a cocktail with jäger, tonic, and a bit of honey, and enjoy alongside a ploughman's sandwich - sourdough, butter, double gloucester, and onion (fresh or pickled)
serve with walnuts, dark seed crackers, sliced apples, and mustard. you could roast the nuts in jäger if you'd like
do it the student way -- have a jäger bomb or four with friends (drink responsibly) and then stumble home and assemble a little snack plate with double gloucester, olives, jam of some sort, maybe some chocolate, a pear, leftover fries ... it's very versatile
