So at work there is this tradition of passing around this little elf thing during December and staff members tell little stories about his adventure. I’ve been lucky to be skipped the last couple years, but this year they got me. So I got political, ha.

“Kip found is way to my desk, but ain't nobody got time for that, ha. Luckily he was distracted by the posters around my desk and he learned a little something about community organizing and direct action. A little about LGBT and Disability Rights activism and resistance organizing in San Salvador de Atenco.
This worked out for Kip as Frida Kahlo and Vladimir Lenin were hosting their weekly Wednesday communist party at my desk. He was well read and as you all know, Kip knows how to party. As someone who does outreach, I was thoroughly impressed with his ability to work a room and mobilize the community on my desk. Several notes were taken, get ready HPTN 083!
He did so well that he now he's be asked be an honorary/seasonal co-chair. Looking like Ocean's 14 over here... *Double checks I still have my wallet*
After so much activism, organizing and gearing up for some fierce advocacy, Kip needed to recharge. Last I saw him, he was lounging among the ACE team's crystals, stones and essential oils. Who knows where he'll end up....“
