Hi this is cubitozinc i need to say these tags are actively turning my brain to a fine viscous sludge and every time i reread them it starts happening faster. Thank you. i have never realized this before. This has ruined my life
LITERALLY flabbergasted cat image. they literally could not be in more different positions right now but their reasons for getting where they are at the same. qjaiden thought she had to do it alone, to be the only one willing to get close to cucurucho for all the others' safety and now she's the only one as close to him as she is (or so she believes..) and she can't back out now because she's gotten so far and she's the only one who can do it... yet at the same time she's so caught up in that fucking bear's manipulation how could she ever think to do anything else? he's all she has. she can't leave him.
and qcellbit has tried everything, he's fought for fucking months in this hell and never gotten anywhere, and now he has to do it alone, he has to make them bleed by his lonesome for the sake of everyone he cares about. and it all comes down to that Stupid fucking bear. and qjaiden used to trust qcellbit so much and qcellbit used to always tell her that he and the others will be there for her even if she thinks she's done something she can't come back from. and then ... .And then .....................

IT'S LIKEEE I remember when she showed Cellbit the Bobby fields, she said that she wasn't sure she was doing the right thing, and he didn't even let her finish before saying that he gets it. Because. He DID. HE DIIDDDD. They were both doing the same thing with the same goal, only Jaiden was willing to go further, put more of herself into it. Because she felt like she had nothing to lose. And now, in a way, Cellbit is giving into that same feeling. He does have something to lose, but the realisation of how much he's already lost is crashing down on him, and he doesn't see any other way. And that puts them more at odds with each other than ever, but the way they got to this point. Is. The Same.
And they were so ready to listen to each other, in the beginning. Cellbit understood her actions, probably more than anyone else could. And she trusted him, like you said, she trusted him so much. She shared her opinions about Cucurucho, allowed Cellbit to follow her on her secret mission to keep her safe. And, in turn, he was always willing to hear her out. Even if he didn't get it, didn't agree with it, he still asked for her opinion. And he told her, over and over again, that she could talk to him, no matter what. No Matter What.
And, you know, I think that if it weren't for the catastrophically impenetrable walls that have grown between them over these last few months, if they could just end up in a vacuum, removed from all outside circumstances and influences, and given time to adjust, they could probably understand each other now just as much as they did before. But. Alas. You know. That's just not the world they live in .
