Sports Bettors TV MLB Blog 7/10/2014 – National League Central

  What’s good people? This is Rob from The Biggest Show In The World.. Sports Bettors TV on YouTube. It’s been a minute since the last blog but I was waiting to watch a few more games until I got to this one. This blog should be way more fun for me to write about then the NL East and I’m pretty amped about it. Let’s get right into this shit…

  1st Place – Milwaukee Brewers

Record 52 – 41

WTF??? This team is starting to fall apart. They just got blown up by the Phillies today 9-1 and are riding a 5 game losing streak. Swept by the Phillies in their stadium? SMH playas! No bats today at all. I don’t know but I’m really startin to lose faith here especially with that pain in the ass St. Louis Cardinal team only 1.5 games out now. Guys tell me something promising about them because I can’t find much right now. They lost games with closing lines of -180, -180, -230. No way I’m takin them anytime soon (per game that is).

Current Odds to win the NL Pennant:  6 – 1

Current Odds for them to win it all: 12 – 1 (Really?)

Sports Bettors TV DID take them to win the World Series. Yes at 25 – 1 previously

How do we feel about this play? Not too bad since they’re in 1st, but ONLY because I bought in at 25 – 1

  2nd Place – St. Louis Cardinals

Record 50 – 42

Winners of 3 straight I do have some concern about them knocking the Brew Crew outta 1st, however, the Molina injury may hurt them for a minute. A torn ligament in the thumb is no joke. This team always does find a way to stick around in the wild card hunt though and I can see them making the playoffs like my boy Dr. Dizzle called in the MLB episode above which was filmed pre-season.

Current Odds for them to win it all: 12 – 1 (Really?)

Sports Bettors TV DID NOT take them to win the World Series.

Notes: I’m still on the fence with them. There are just better teams in my opinion to have to lay money at 12-1.

  3rd Place – Cincinnati Reds

Record 49 – 43

Ok here’s where this shit gets fun! Dr. Dizzle picked them to win the division and I think they do have a shot. They are getting healthy at the right time and have been on a pretty good roll the last 6 weeks. It seems like this team is really starting to put it together. Tough extra inning loss to the Cubbies today but they have looked good in that series. They recently swept The Giants and I think they have real potential! Lots of value in betting them as they rarely lay a large number when favored. Definitely feelin them!

Current Odds for them to win it all: 35 – 1

Notes: It’s probably a good idea for me to lock them in at 35-1 because they could be a problem.

  4th Place – Pittsburg Pirates

Record 47 – 44

Well, they just came off 5 straight series with sub .500 teams and they’re only 3 games above .500. They did go 11-4 there so there may be some value in getting a piece of them when they play some shakey teams. I just don’t know enough about them to write much here or bet them. Just bein honest playas! LOL. Remember I started this year not knowing anything at all about baseball.

  Last Place – Chicago Cubbies

Record 39 – 52

3 words.. Always An Underdog! You gotta always love Castro. Unfortunately there’s a reason why they’re almost never favored. I know many of our cappers we roll with have been smoke showed by this team and probably won’t give them out as a play again. Not a team to chase in my opinion either. I just don’t see much here even though you will laugh at me for takin them as a long shot to win it all. That money is long gone!

Current Odds for them to win it all: 300 – 1

  Well that’ll do it for this blog folks. As I said before I feel like this division is and will be fun to write about. It’s definitely up for grabs.
