POV: You knew who my comfort character was back in 2018. That’s right we’ve time traveled back to the Noisemaster era let’s goooo. Noisemaster truly was the first variant/origin point of my robotic-object-head-design-fixation looong before Mr. Puzzles came into the picture lol. Wanted to draw this spunky guy again after so many years. The Cucumber Quest fandom truly isn’t talked about enough—the ripple effects it’s irreversibly had on other fandoms deserves to be studied fr…such as Toby Fox working alongside Gigi D.G (the creator of Cucumber Quest) for years. Toby had composed a theme for Noisemaster, which would later be restructured/repurposed into Mettaton’s music motif. Plus Gigi D.G has done remarkable work on Deltarune’s background art!! I truly wish there was more praise and hype surrounding the comic, similar to what The Property of Hate still gets…it feels like the fandom is barely brought up anymore and that makes me kinda sad. This funky robot boi deserves some love still. I promise you it’s worth a read :’)
Okay so funnily enough, I was reminiscing over my old email account and trying to relocate a specific digital artwork two of my childhood friends purchased (back during the days of Equestria Amino commissions. Oof so long ago) as a gift for me. Thankfully I found it and now it’s permanently saved on my device! Wahoo! But during that process, I ALSO found some 2018 emails of mine about Noisemaster pfff. I forgot that I used to be so cheerful and eagerly willing to share my comfort characters with others back then—that’s a level of confidence I lost during high school (never spoke openly about my comfort character The Snatcher outside of Tumblr & YT). I think I’m starting to re-build that ability to be proud of my interests yet again…finding online community with SMG4 has helped rid those insecurities. In a weird way, it’s all come full circle. I have accomplished that level of childhood whimsy again <3

The friend who was featured in the prior email exchange was considerate enough to gift me a Noisemaster artwork. She drew it with her own Copic markers! I still keep it proudly displayed in my room, as a reminder not only of my middle school era but also reminder of that old friend. I’m grateful she was so supportive of my interests and shared UT, MLP, and Hamilton fandoms at the time. I gotta remember to reach out to her again sometime….🫶💜

My art has evolved so much it’s kinda insane actually. Like I barely register my old artstyle being my own since it’s so strikingly different. Anyways that concludes the Noisemaster lore ✨

I caught up on Cucumber Quest a few months after like 4 years so here are some noisemaster drawings I made a while ago and uploaded on deviantart. I really hope CQ gets an ending one day and I’m sure it will at some point. Also, this is probably one of my favorite drawings I’ve made to be honest!!
