Cucumber Melon Sangria is a cool take on traditional sangria that's great for summer parties or days when you want to hang out with friends. A light and tasty drink that is easy to make and fun to drink is made by mixing crisp white wine, sweet melon liqueur, and fresh cucumber.
Ingredients: 1 bottle dry white wine. 1/2 cup melon liqueur. 1/4 cup vodka. 1/4 cup simple syrup. 1 cucumber, sliced. 1 cup honeydew melon balls. 1 cup cantaloupe melon balls. 1 lime, sliced. 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves. 2 cups sparkling water or club soda.
Instructions: In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, melon liqueur, vodka, and simple syrup. Stir well. Add the sliced cucumber, melon balls, lime slices, and mint leaves to the pitcher. Chill the sangria in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. Before serving, stir in the sparkling water or club soda for some effervescence. Serve the sangria over ice in glasses, making sure to include some of the fruit in each serving.
