cellbit and roier sleep like they're trying to smother each other. cellbit because the feeling of his husband there is wonderful and warm and secure. and roier because he's a naturally clingy person.

roier is almost entirely on top of him and cellbit loves it that way. (his husband is much better than any weighted blanket could ever be.) their legs are completely tangled and they've got each other in death grips. cellbits claws dig into the fabric of roiers shirt and sometimes even his skin if he goes to bed without one. (neither of them mind a few marks anyway)

Grimbark Jade crashes in through the ceiling, carrying a quite scared looking Tavros in her paws. (Why didn't they just use the broken window?) She touches down onto your bedroom along with a now more relieved and slightly flushed Tavros. "wE uuuH HEARD THAT YOU NEEDED LOVE AND UHHH We CamE." Grimbark Jade is cuddling up off to your left like a puppy.

roier initiates it more often than cellbit, he just kind of drapes himself over cellbit like a blanket with limbs and his husband gets the hint very quickly. he'll do it anywhere, in front of others if he has to. he likes touch, sue him.

cellbit usually initiates cuddles privately, not because he doesn't like showing off how much he loves roier, but just because asking for it is something vulnerable and personal and he doesn't show that to just anybody

roier will climb into cellbit's lap for cuddles and attention, he's not ashamed of it either. (maybe the area between cellbit and his desk shouldn't be roier-shaped if he wasn't supposed to be there)

cellbit purrs almost immediately after they start, he really can't help it and he hates it so much. roier is warm, okay? he's warm and solid and so comforting that he just can't stop himself

roier doesn't have a preference on what position they're cuddling in as long as he gets to hold on with every limb he has

cellbit usually likes being underneath, or with his back to roier's chest. he's spent way too long thinking about the implications of how safe it makes him feel. unless they're on the couch, then he likes being on top because it's too cramped in such a small space

roier really likes to hold cellbit's hand when they cuddle, preferably the one with his wedding ring. he plays with it and smiles because this is his husband and he's so fucking lucky

cellbit usually ends up with his claws in roier's shirt, the first time it happened he kept apologizing because that's so fucking embarrassing but roier thinks it's adorable

cellbit's tail ends up wrapped around roier's leg or arm every time they cuddle, he also thinks that's embarrassing as hell

cuddle saga 9: hybrid stuff but also a lot of biting for some reason

both cellbit and roier end up biting a lot, usually because they're sleepy and maybe there's an arm or a shoulder right there. how could they not?

roier bites a lot, mostly playfully, but he does have venom so he has to be very careful. he can mostly control it but sometimes accidents happen, he's had a lot of time to figure out how it works, anyway

his venom has the potential to be deadly in high dosages, but the most he uses it for is making his overworking husband go to sleep (sometimes forcefully but they did agree to let it happen if it came down to it)

cellbit usually just nips at roier's fingers or jaw, but sometimes when he's grumpy because roier moved, he'll bite a little harder

cellbit will actually growl if roier moves before he's gotten all the cuddling he wants. the first time it happened he kept apologizing but roier knows its not threatening (roier really likes cellbit's cat noises, anyway)

roier hisses and bares his fangs when someone gets close during cuddle time, he'll usually apologize but he also just glares the entire time until they leave

one of roier's favorite things ever, and this is mostly bc of the four arms headcanon, is hanging cuddles. where he'll be holding himself up in a corner with cellbit or richarlyson on top of him like some kind of human hammock. it freaked cellbit out the first time but once he was shown that they won't fall, he likes it a lot

both of them like being high up, so it's not super uncommon to find them cuddling on the roof or in a tree or tower somewhere

they both like cuddling outside at night when it's colder, cellbit because he gets to press up against his husband and complain that it's cold and roier because he likes seeing his husband's tail fluff up and getting to pet it (and because cellbit will cling to him)

cellbit focused cuddle stuff

he really really likes feeling boxed in, either because his husband is right behind him or because roier is in his lap and he's got him complete covered. it's secure, it makes him feel safer than anything else knowing roier has his back in a sense

the only times he's on top of roier when they cuddle is when he wakes up, yawns, and stretches just right that his body ends up feeling like jelly. then he'll just flop right back down on top of roier and by the time he's got the ability to get back up, he's being held so tightly that he might as well stay a little longer, right?

he kneads! it's mostly involuntary but hey, it gives him an excuse to feel roier's muscles so he's not complaining nearly as much as he does with the other cat shit

he'll also grab onto roier's arm if he tries to move it away, followed by light biting to his hand because how dare he? he gave up rights to his arm the moment they got in bed

his favorite place for his tail to end up is also wrapped around roier's arm, because the other will run his fingers over his fur so softly and borderline reverently that it makes him ignore how embarrassing the whole thing is

he also really likes putting his head on roier's chest for a similar reason. roier pets his ears so gently, and he gets to feel his heartbeat and his breathing and it makes him purr just thinking about how all of that is his

he also likes being able to bump his head against roier's and maybe, just maybe, he likes hearing his husband gush about how cute it is (roier knows this very well, and he says everything very softly, right next to his ears)

spiderbit cuddles part like 4 (feat. richas)

cellbit really enjoys cuddling with his husband and son. they both run warm and it makes him very sleepy (they both know this, its a coordinated attack to get him to fucking sleep)

richas likes being right in the middle, that way he gets all of the attention and both his dads can hold him! it's a win-win for everybody

roiers favorite cuddle time is when the weather is shitty. it's nice to be warm with the people he loves when it's cold and miserable out (and knowing that rain means danger, he likes to have a firm hold on his son. cellbits the same way)

it's not uncommon to find all three of them asleep in some field outside after whatever activities they were doing. richarlyson is demanding when he's sleepy and well, they might as well right?

richas' tail can't wrap around others like cellbit's but it does wag, it's hit both of them multiple times, usually it just thumps softly against them while he sleeps

when richarlyson isn't in the middle, it's cellbit with roier pinning like half of his body down and richarlyson curled up over his other arm. he keeps a very firm grip on both of them

sometimes, if they don't fall asleep before the others, both roier and cellbit will just watch them sleep. roier because he's filled with so much damn love that he has to admire the family he has and cellbit to soothe his paranoia before he eventually falls asleep

cuddle saga 6: roier edition

roier likes being on top of cellbit probably just as much as cellbit likes him being on top. he gets all giddy seeing his husband so relax and knowing it's him making him that way (and if he traces cellbit's sleeping face that's between him and god)

I've mentioned it before but he's really clingy. like, all limbs are around some part of cellbit clingy. one leg around each of cellbit's, his arms holding him very close, that stuff

sometimes, if he's feeling extra sappy, he'll open his other set of eyes, just to admire the details of cellbit's face while up so close.

one of his favorite parts of cuddle sessions, weither cellbit is awake enough to hear it or not, is to just whisper every single thing he loves about him into his skin or his hair or sometimes right next to his ears. (the list gets longer every time)

sometimes, when he's in somewhat of a bad mood, cellbit's in his lap instead, and he holds him close and tight and has once or twice hissed at someone (forever) for getting too close

his favorite tactic to get cellbit to stop working is sigh like a sad dog and put his hand to his head and collapse dramatically into his lap or over his desk. yes it works every time

even though he runs very warm, he would literally rather die than not be pressed right up to his husband, even if it's hot and kind of sticky out. he has needs, okay?

he likes just pressing himself against cellbit's back and hooking his head over his shoulder if he wants attention time. he'll wrap his arms around cellbit's waist and hum softly and just sometimes bite lightly when he gets impatient about it (which is always)

his second favorite cuddle partner is richarlyson, sometimes he'll already be holding him while he tries to get cellbit to join (the both of them have mastered double puppy eyes, it works very well)

cuddle saga 8

cellbit wakes up first almost always, because he wakes up from any time between 1-6 am on most days. and he likes to stare at roier while he sleeps, because he's in love, duh (he also watches richas sleep for awhile on Bad Days)

on the rare occasions roier wakes up first; he usually lays there for 30 mins to an hour, just admiring and petting and being grossly in love with his husband

roier has mastered what he's called "cuddling standing up", which is just him holding onto cellbit whenever either of them are doing something, like making breakfast

sometimes when roier is clingy and the day needs to start but cellbit is sleepy, roier will just carry him around the castle until he wakes up fully. he's very strong and it's not at all an issue other than cellbit getting extremely flustered every time it happens. (on days richas is with them, he'll carry them both)

garden cuddles are roier's favorite outside of cuddling in bed, he likes the sun and the sounds and the way cellbit's eyes look in the light and how being in the garden with his family makes him feel warm inside and out

roier may run warm, but he hates the cold, and some of that hate extends to the Order because of course it's cold as hell down there. he grumbles and complains and drapes himself over cellbit until he gets to be held and kissed like he wants

somehow, if it's even possible, being sick even a little bit makes the both of them even clingier: they stand even closer than usual, they've always got a grip on the others hand or sleeve or the back of their shirt and sometimes when it's bad they can't even stand not seeing the other in the same room (they dont acknowledge this at all when it's over, it's unspoken that they'll be by each others side the entire time)

sometimes, after long days, cellbit just doesn't feel like speaking or being near anybody but roier. he'll just tug on roier's arm and give him a look and if they're with anybody, roier will excuse them both and they'll go home and relax and the only noise will be cellbit purring
