Recovery and Rhymes

:: Chen woken up slowly from his nap and had grinned at a sleeping Min. He managed to slip out of his grasp and he put on clean cloths and taking a shirt and bandages for re-wrapping them when he was done. He put on his old shirt from yesterday and Luca came out of the tent looking at him expectantly. Chen nodded and he and Luca took off at a run. He'd left a note for Min that he and Luca had gone running so the other wouldn't worry.

They took their usual route that took them up the mountain then back down again where he would wash off the sweat down by the river. He was re-wrapping his bandages around his shoulders and arms when he saw something flash out of the corner of his eye. He looked to a tree to see an arrow with a red ribbon off it. His face became serious as he walked over to pull the arrow out. Reading the attached note, which was in code so it couldn't be read by anyone else but the group. It was another mission. He had to leave in a few hours. He sighed. Their timing was always fantastic.

He made his way back to the camp, more nervous about what Min's reaction would be than about the mission it's self. Luca let out a bark as the camp came into view and bounded ahead. Chen hung back bracing himself.

Chen knew he was there, but didn’t want to spoil the others fun. He looked the other way and turned his head with a smile, before freezing at the small peck to his lips. He didn’t think he’d ever get used to that. He blushed and gave a lopsided grin” Hey”
