The greatest and shortest conversation I've ever had with my girlfriend took place just a few hours ago: We're both painting and listening to some chill music, we're having a good time and out of nowhere, the quote "Ay chihuahua" appears in my head and immediately I ask her, "How many times do you think they said 'ay chihuahua' in Beverly Hills Chihuahua?" and without even thinking about it, she answers "About 48 times." and then the conversation ended.
Been thinking up concepts for an Amazing Digital Rock Star au (can include or exclude my s/i but obviously I'd like to include them)
Imagine with me: Pomni as base guitar and female vocals. Jax on electric guitar and doing male vocals. Gangle on keyboard. Zooble being the drummer. Kinger is the stage manager. Bubble is their sound designer. And Caine is the owner of the record company they're signed to.

I like to imagine they'd be a hard rock--leaning into metal-- band, or perhaps alternative. Or even maybe a unique mix of genres, kind of like Sleep Token. They have multiple vocalists for a more layered sound.
Some themes their music might explore are the feelings of being lost, trauma, yearning for freedom/something more, nostalgia, perhaps a bit of romance/heartbreak, finding meaning in a bleak world, and emerging hope.
As a way to include some of the other characters: Ribbit was the lead female vocalist until she abstracted/died, and Kaufmo was the base guitarist. I'm not sure what to do with Queenie. Maybe she was their PR manager?
If we include Dumpling in this au, then she'd be the lead vocalist with Pomni as the secondary/backup.
Dumpling would join the band as a backup vocalist at first, originally scouted after being an indie music artist on YouTube for a while. She replaces Ribbit when she's gone, and there'd be some drama related to that (mostly caused by Jax of course). Pomni comes along not much later to take Kaufmo's spot when he's gone. If we don't include Dumpling then Pomni takes both Ribbit and Kaufmo's spots.
I'll leave this idea as it is for now. I might come back in a bit to explore how each character handles their role and what they'd be like in this au.
I'm contemplating adding a warm element to Dumpling. Because earlier today I had a vision in my head of Jax holding them in a particular way and thinking "mmm warm" or smth along those lines. It's very cute
