I don't know if it's very /correct/, but I have SEEN Luke used as the modern adaption of Lucifer in several fics before. So it's kind of a thing, at least.

And for what it’s worth, I’ve also seen Luci used in at least one genderbent situation. *shrug*

Oh gosh but how would Cas react to Dean having hiccups??

(Geez, do you people want me to make any progress at all on the fic I’m supposed to be writing? [You of all people should be aware of this, Sarah.][But shh, it’s okay, these are fun.])

Boringly, most likely.

Dean probably had one too many milkshakes and is laying on the couch in a food coma, with his head on Castiel’s lap, when it starts. Cas kind of squints down at him, but Dean doesn’t look too concerned - he’s got his eyes closed, arms folded across his chest, mouth hanging open just a little in that almost-but-not-quite asleep state. He jerks a little with the force of the next hic, and Cas decides he’d rather not be bothered with it, so he just places two fingers on Dean’s solar plexus and takes care of it.

Dean just falls asleep, none the wiser.

See? Boring.

I've been torturing Sarah again. Quite terribly, actually. And now she is never allowed to complain about it ever again.

Wait, but I'm indecorously and unashamedly jealous. I want to be the Supreme Monarch of something. Azureoverland gets to be the Supreme Monarch of Sammy Bellyrubs. What do I get to be a Supreme Monarch of?

Uh-oh… um… I knew I shouldn’t have started handing out titles, especially since I have no actual power to do so whatsoever. It’s all lies.

That being said… How about the Unchallenged Queen of Teasing!Cas?

But ALSO, counting both the regular fics and the little askfics scattered throughout this blog, that was the fiftieth story I’ve written! I feel very accomplished, and I can see how I’ve improved since my first one, and I’m just very happy right now. :D

Dean was melting. Cas massaged his back with an unbelievably relaxing pressure, eliciting soft little moans of pleasure from the hunter. A few times, when Cas brushed too close to Dean's side or hip, the man would twitch away with a tiny smile and Cas would chuckle at his hunter's endearing sensitivity before resuming his firm massage. When Cas' hands got tired, he leaned over to press chaste, affectionate kisses down the length of Dean's spine, making him shiver and sigh. ~ "I love you, Dean."

Ugh, you know how to push all my happy buttons. (Let's pretend that doesn't sound creepily sexual.)

Oh no, help. My mind tends to frequently drift out of focus and not pay attention. And there's a post going around with a couple hundred notes that says Cas will die when his stolen grace burns out? But I thought when it burns out, he would just turn back into a human. Do you know what key line or scene I missed that indicated that Cas' bad grace running out equates to dying? (I think I remember something being said about it being cancerous to/harming his vessel? Is it that? God, I'm oblivious.)

The one that comes to mind from last night is during Metatron’s video call, where he asks if Cas’ army knows about his Grace problem. I don’t have the scene in front of me, but he says something to the effect of, “Do they know that your stolen Grace is burning out, and it’ll burn you out with it?”

There was a post I remember seeing a while ago, with a comment from Misha at one of the cons where he said the Grace will reject like an organ. I don’t know how accurate of a simile that is.

From what’s already been said, back in 9x18 Meta Fiction, this is how it was phrased [x]:

METATRON: Mm. You’re gonna make me do the hard pitch, aren’t you? How’s that, um, stolen grace inside you working out?

CASTIEL: It’s fine.

METATRON: No. It’s not. It’s burning out. It’s gonna burn you out.

I really hope turning human is all that happens. There’s an awful lot of interesting storytelling that could happen with that arc that they kind of skipped out on the first time. But now I’m worried about this, which only built further on the fear I expressed earlier.

But can we talk about Metatron needing a second to try on that Cas-esque coat and posing in the mirror

Did you notice how it was plaid under the collar? At first I was amused, and then when I saw that, I was filled with righteous indignation. No, Metatron, you don’t get to have that! You don’t get to pretend you’re as awesome as Cas. How dare you.

Also, there was a thing I was very afraid of about halfway through, which I am very glad did not come to fruition. So Metatron has the same coat. And he told Bowling Angel that he could change his face. When it comes to his “agents,” I don’t think they knew they were doing it for him - I think he actually changed his appearance to look like Cas and convince them. And I had this revelation while Sam and Cas were going through that building, and I was horrified with the thought that it wasn’t Cas at all, that it was Metatron and he was going to hurt Sam. But we dodged that bullet. Phew.
