#TrueStory Have you ever been to a haunted house? I've been to one, and that was enough. I will not lie: I am not the greatest fan of horror flicks! Early experiences kind of turned me off. I mean, c'mon! What seven year old could watch movies like: #TheExorcist, #Damian, #RosemarysBaby, #Halloween, #Carrie, and that damn dog #Cugo and not feel some kind of way?!?! 🙈🙉🙊 That's what happens when you have Uncles only a few years older than you, and the best thing they could do is scare the crap out of you! 😲😩😒 There was this house that was right up the block from my Grams. It looked like a normal house. I was playing outside across the street one day when I heard all of this screaming and things breaking. The cops came and some moments later they were in escorting this young girl out of the house. She had long, straight black hair, parted down the middle. I could see her shaking. Her eyes were huge and dark and her face so pale. When the the officer opened the squad car, she turned and looked right at me and said: "The devil lives here and he tried to kill me. They can't see him, but I can, and you can too!" The officer placed her in the car and soon drove off. I sat there, mouth gaping watching her watch me as the car left. Man! Listen! I ran to my Grams and told her what happened. She told me I probably misunderstood. I insisted I didn't. I know what I heard and what she said. And I believed her. I overheard some of my grams neighbors saying how she was a sick girl and had been slipped a "Micky" at a party and was never the same again mentally. I didn't know what a "Micky" was at the time, but I knew that I believed that girl and that the devil was in that house. A year or so later, someone was murdered in that house.
