Cuibul goes acoustic again in the new video for Space Wife, one of the few English songs from the Moldavian band. Vocalist Lidia Scarlat is still amazing in this. Watch out for the new album from this band. In the new material will prevail a soft, jazzy sound and they will use mainly acoustic instruments. Like!

Moldovan band Cuibul is back with another video. This time, it's an acoustic version of Ne Vom Topi, a song from their 2009 album PRiZ, which you can download here. I'm slowly falling in love with lead singer Lidia Scarlat - already being called 'Nora Jones a Moldovei'.

On Facebook, Cuibul told me: 

We're trying to put together an album, we'll see how it goes.

Being the oldest band among the still active bands from Moldova – Cuibul was formed in 1991 by Igor Dinga, in Chisinau. Their first songs were influenced by The Cure, INXS and Midnight Oil. Cuibul took a break from recording, but it seems the band is back in business. They even hired a cute girl for the vocals.   In the video above, Cuibul is playing an acoustic version of Episod - probably from the new album. Can't get enough?
