You know the one!! If it's plausible... Shy/forehead(?)/platonic/clumsy?

Luvshan had gotten used to his regular visitor to come and go as he pleased, to stay as long as he could, but just as suddenly to leave when the weariness got the best of him. Perhaps it was that reason why the old Xaela hadn’t realised to shoo him out in time before the youth’s distracted weariness had grown into him nodding off on one of the chairs, and finally being grouchily lead to the patients’ bed for a brief nap.
And, as much as the brightly-haired Au ra had attempted to focus on his paperwork, he soon found himself slipping past the curtain separating the bed from the rest of the clinic, eyes settled onto Jikhaa slumbering on the clean sheets. Besides the light, barely noticeable flutter of the dark lashes against his scaled cheeks, his visitor seemed to be sleeping soundly, the steady calm breathing filling Luvshan’s chest with relief.
Jikhaa. After so long of the youth not even introducing himself, he had requested Luvshan to call him so. Shy, gentle, but always a little hungry for attention, Jikhaa always managed to stir something deep within the Scholar, something he thought had been locked away a long time ago. But never uncomfortably so, for his companion had always been patient with him. So patient it made Luvshan desire to put in more effort than he ever had before.
Before he knew it, his long, calloused fingers had reached over to brush away a lone purple strand or two, his hand resting onto the pillow beside the other Xaela’s head before the rest of him slowly leaned in. A spontaneous act of affection, his lips barely touched over Jikhaa’s tousled head, almost a breath before Luvshan already moved away.
And to escape the possible, green pair of puppy eyes that might’ve been there staring at him at his retreat, the Scholar quickly returned to finish his work for the night.
