upon closer inspection, one could very easily see that yes, indeed...she’s asleep. while it’s not a very strange thing for Mako to do (in her eyes!), it very well would look strange to passersby, considering she’s in the middle of the sidewalk.

what will you do? wake up the snoozing, drooling girl? or leave her to her oddly timed nap?

sidewalk sale! - @culdesacninja

Everything seemed to be right in the world, or at the very least, it seemed that way to Hajime! She still went to school, still did somewhat okay in her classes and found it hard to pay attention, and she still had her cute job at the cutest stationary store in the city! She’d be lying if she said that she hadn’t taken this job for any other reason other than the discounts, but she’d also be lying if she said that she didn’t enjoy it, especially when they had fun events like today!

Today was a big sidewalk sale, and small shelves were placed outside of the store, with colorful plastic boxes each holding a different type of stationary. Notebooks, highlights, sticky notes, pens, sticks and more filled the boxes, the different prices listed on them. Hajime’s smile widened as she smoothed our her apron then took a deep breath in.

It was time to draw in some customers!

“Hello, hey! Hiya, hey you there!” 

She started waving at everyone who walked by, whether they looked interested or not.

“How ‘bout you come and check out our sale, huh? You never know when you’ll need a super cute pen! Or or some sticky notes shaped like cats, and at these prices they are a steal~!”

“Did I get all my homework..?” she wondered to herself, dipping her head to double check her bag. It was the second time she’d had to look, even though she’d already looked when she left the classroom to begin with. It was all there, but she still worried. Natural worries of a student, she supposed.

Just when she was about to start walking again, there was a noise, and when she looked up, there was a person standing there. 

“E-EH?!” she exclaimed, staggering back in her surprise before glancing at the wall to her left, then back at the male. “D-Did you just jump over that?”

Teleportation wasn’t a thing, was it!?

          “Are you seriously wearing those things?” She’d seen him from across the room and simply had to find out. Though, knowing him, she wouldn’t put it past him to be waiting for the right moment to bust out some ‘sick trick’. She had sidled up to him with a cup of punch in her hands. “Boy, I sure hope you don’t fall.”
