@consiliuum [ DIEM;INQUISITOR] || SKYHOLD –––– ⚔
They had gotten lucky, that was the only way to explain it. The fortress that had been built into the side of the mountain had turned out to be the perfect grounds for a group of people trying to get off the ground and Cullen couldn’t be more pleased. He’d been wary at first, Solas’ suggestion had been quite mysterious. Hell, Cullen wasn’t sure if he even believed it could be true until he saw it in the distant horizon. He’d watched for Diem’s response but hadn’t been able to read her, but again, she’d been through a lot.
On top of that, only a few days after arrival had they decided to grant her with the title of Inquisitor. Cullen had agreed to it because no one else had stepped up as she had during the attack on Haven. She’d been braver than anyone there, risking her own life to save the many. No one could even deny that she deserved the title.
They’d gotten many of the much-needed renovations started and Cullen was currently in the room he had claimed as an office, going over plans to get more scouts out into Thedas, battling many issues that were afoot. He’d not heard the door open, not expecting any visitors at that time. It was growing late, he was nowhere near done with the paperwork he had piled up on his desk and he was already growing tired. He sank back into the small chair he had been given and sighed heavily, pressing a finger against his temple.
