My Iron Lung by Radiohead is Mark after the trauma in the bathroom, loosing his whimsy and joy. Also actively watching Doug fall out of love with Mark because that isn't the same man he loved before. Especially the Ground Zero/Fathers and Sons dynamic between them changing.

my iron lung is my favorite song of all time!! my markdoug playlist has a huge amount of radiohead in it so I very much appreciate this mention… Here’s a small sample of the radiohead songs I’ve listened to when drawing or writing about them… (sulk & punch up especially for doug)
