This is a humble attempt to say thank you to my lovely confidenceandparanoia, who spent quite a bit of the last few months trying to cheer me up and checking up on me while I wrote angry rants about my dissertation. And answered confused asks about what does Davy say at this exact point of time in Third Star and what are the exact words and I don't even know anymore what stuff I thought I needed to know. All while dealing with difficult stuff herself.
So I wondered what I could do, and somehow decided that drawing lots of hair and hands and both in one picture would be an adequate way to show my affection, because I just really don't like drawing hair and hands. But looking at this I don't know why I thought this was a good idea. I hope you like a hearting Benedict nevertheless. And thank you so much, Karen, I'm so so grateful I met you, and if I had a way with words I might even have been able to express that.

I don't want to see this anymore. It was an experiment. That went wrong. And took two and a half weeks. I need to get it out of my sight.
Finished triptych for the shirt design.
Last one.
Currently trying to put the three of them together as a triptych, because that's why I made them in the first place. Attempts so far are not really satisfactory. Until then, they are for sale individually.
Second one. Some things got better, some things worse.
Will be available as a print, too. (As soon as I get a decent scan instead of horrible mobile phone photos.)
Saw this and wanted to do a version with Benedict.
Took me more than a season of qi and some Neverwhere episodes to do all the triangles. Lesson learned. Will not do it again. Too much time. Far too much.
The other day I was criticised for drawing on brown paper so often. So I had to do even more drawings on brown paper - as some sort of silent protest or whatever. Something inspired by an Angel named Islington.
