There will be a time jump again. In the final scene, we will see Will sitting in the couch and watching the news & Hannibal, cooking dinner; a few minutes later, he walks into the living room, puts his hands on Will's shoulder *very romantic, classical piece is playing in the background* and whispers into his ears: 'This is OUR design.' Will kisses Hannibal's hand then we'll see the report he was watching before: 'The police is still searching for the rest of his body.' *
They would never find it. The lungs were still sizzling on the stovetop, left to rest, under an aluminum cover. The heart, which Hannibal now always removed, had been marinated tied with twine, perfectly grilled and sliced.
That tourist had been terrifically rude to them, as they’d passed through the second courtyard of the Palazzo Vecchio, finally exploring the Florence of Hannibal’s adolescence. Flinging an insult that even Will could understand. Hannibal had kissed him reassuringly on the cheek, and Will had known then that it was a promise.
