you  ever  think  about  lili  driving  to  california  in  silence  because  the  only  playlist  she  saved  was  the  one  she  made  for  corey   &   she  can’t  listen  to  music  without  crying  because  every  song  reminds  her  of  him   . . .   you  ever  think  about  her  getting  the  big  break  audition  she’s  always  dreamed  of  and  bailing  on  it  when  she  hears  about  what  happened  ?     you  ever  think  about  the  way  she’d  never  been  loved  that  fully  before  and  hearing  that  it  was  all  a  lie  breaks  her  in  the  deepest  of  ways ,    but  she  still  doesn’t  hesitate  to  drop  everything  and  take  care  of  him ??   you  ever  think  about  the  way  lili  would  literally  die  for  corey  even  if  she  thinks  he  hates  her ?   or  the  way  she  blames  herself  for  not  being  good  enough  for  him   . . .    how  she  blames  herself  for   everything   that  happened   --   for  michael  getting  to  him ,    for  him  killing  people ,   for  him  getting  hurt .    you  ever  think  of  the  way  he  could  literally  stab  her  and  she  would  hold  his  face  and  tell  him  it’s  okay  ??????

𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚  𝒈𝒐𝒕  𝒂  𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍  𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔  𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆     —    cramped  interior  of  lilibeth's  car  no  longer  limiting  their  comfort .    though  the  bed  beneath  her  was  comfortable  indeed ,    the  situation  seemed  almost  cruel .    his  arms  looped  around  her  shaking  thighs ,    coaxing  sweet  sounds  from  her  lips  with  his  tongue .    she  didn't  know  she  could  feel  this  way     (   so  good  that  it  almost  hurt   )     —    skin  is  flushed  red,  hands  once  tangled  in  his  hair  now  up  higher  and  covering  her  face .     “    please   . . .   please ,   corey !    ”      at  this  point  she  doesn't  know  what  she  is  begging  for ,    her  mind  is  a  daze  and  her  voice  wobbly  with  pleasure .     she  feels  loved ,    so ,    so  loved   . . .   another  moan  leaves  heaving  chest  and  then  he  says  it ,    head  rising  just  long  enough  to  deliver  praise .     lili  thought  she'd  already  been  as  flustered  as  she  could  possibly  be    —      oh ,     was  she  wrong .      hands  tighten  around  her  cheeks ,     shielding  her  freckled  face  from  his  vision  with  a  whimper .    𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚜  𝚝𝚘  𝚝𝚘𝚞𝚌𝚑  𝚑𝚒𝚖 ,     to  feel  his  skin  against  hers ,   but  all  she  can  focus  on  is  the  overwhelming  sensation  of  his  mouth  upon  her .      “    st-  oh ,    god .    y'er—    ”     wants  to  say  mean ,    but  it's  anything  but ,    and  they  both  know  it .    any  doubts  of  her  appreciation  washed  away  with  the  next  wave  of  pleasure .

Lili is literally one of my favorite characters on this website . She’s so wonderful , ao well thought though and so unique . Her softness is her strength and she’s just so .. amazing . Your dedication for her really inspires and Corey loves her a lot ♥️

𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆  𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏'𝒕  𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚  𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔         in  haddonfield  that  are  closed  away  from  the  eyes  and  ears  of  people  with  harsh  words  to  say .    and  there  aren't  many  people  who  make  her  feel  the  way  corey  does .    with  him,  she  doesn't  feel  criticized.  she's  free  from  the  pit  in  her  stomach  that  comes  with  worrying  about  what  other  people  think .    she  never  has  to  worry  about  him ,    though    —     is       𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛  𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚍      of  his  niceties  one  day  turning  false .    he  cares  for  her ,    truly .    which  is  why  the  moment  eileen  spat  venomous  words  at  him  was  the  moment  lili  realized  she  wanted       nothing  to  do  with  her  anymore .      corey  has  become  the  focal  point  of  her  life .    and  she's  happy  that  way .    happy  here ,    tucked  away  from  the  world  in  the  backseat  of  her  car ,    lips  pressed  against  his .    there  is  no  urgency  in  the  way  she  kisses  him ,    no  rush    —    they  have  all  the  time  they  could  possibly  need .    hands  cup  his  face ,    pulling  herself  closer  as  she  lifts ,    moving  to  straddle  his  lap .    her  kisses  deviate  from  his ,    pressing  to  his  cheek ,    his  jaw ,    𝒉𝒊𝒔  𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒌     —    the  touch  of  his  hands  on  her  skin  providing  a  welcome  warmth .    as  usual ,    her  kisses  are  tender .    lili  treats  him  as  if  he  is  fragile    —    not  because  she  looks  down  on  him ,    but  because  it  is  what  he  deserves .    he  is  not  something  to  be  feared ,    but      something  to  be  taken  care  of .     lips  stay  on  his  neck  for  a  moment  before  she's  pulling  back  up ,    forehead  leaned  against  his  as  lili  presses  her  body  closer .         “    come  with  me .     t'california .    ”         it's  something  she's  mentioned  before ,     but  now  with  her  breathing  heavier ,     with  their  lips  so  close  :     it  isn't  a  question  anymore ,    𝚋𝚞𝚝  𝚊  𝚙𝚕𝚎𝚊 .        “    i  ...  i  want  y'there  . . .    ”     eyes  flutter  shut ,    mouth  open  mouth  grazing  against  his .        “    i  want  you .    ”

𝒍𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒉  𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏'𝒕  𝒉𝒊𝒅𝒆  𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕  𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 ,    damage  done  days  prior  still  a  lasting  wound .    he's  been  . . .   different  lately .     she's  tried  so  hard  not  to  notice  it     —     to  not  pick  up  on  the  darkness  in  his  eyes  or  the  edge  to  his  voice .    he  doesn't  mean  to      𝚑𝚞𝚛𝚝  𝚑𝚎𝚛  𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 ,       she  knows ,    and  she  wills  herself  to  believe  that       as  soon  as  they  take  to  the  road        everything  will  be  fine    —    just  the  way  that  it  used  to  be .    even  though  they  haven't  been  talking  as  much      (    maybe  he  can  see  the  way  she  tenses  when  his  voice     goes  rough ,    maybe  she  isn't  as  comforting  as  she  wishes  to  be    )     it  hasn't  stopped  the  rapidly  increasing  pile  of  boxes  tucked  away  into  her  trunk ,    hasn't  discouraged  the  snack  buying  and  playlist  making .    because  it's  fine !       it  has  to  be  fine .     

when  she  sees  him  walking  down  the  street ,    her  heart     falters  within  her  chest .      pace  quickens .    needing  to  see  him ,    to  hold  him    —    to  kiss  him .      “    corey !    ”      her  smile  holds  a  nervous  sort  of  excitement ,    but  she  runs  up ,    wraps  her  arms  around  his  torso  and  holds  on  tight .     he  needs  to  know  that  she's  here .     that  she  cares .    she  loves  him .    lips  press  a  quick  peck  to  his ,    a  greeting  meant  to  be  casual ,    normal .    she's  fine .    he's  here .    they  will  be  okay .     “    where’ve  y’been ,   sailor ?    i  left  a  couple’a  messages    --   dunno  if  y’got  ‘em  or  not .    ”

𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚’𝒓𝒆  𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈  𝒊𝒏  𝒕𝒉𝒆  𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍  𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒘   by  the  barn  when  he  says  it ,   warm  sunlight  peering  down  at  them  through  the  gaps  of  the  big  apple  tree .    the  pair  had  been      𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐  𝚍𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚖𝚜 .      something  lili  always  encouraged ,    enjoyed  seeing  the  smile  light  up  his  face  when  he  talked  about  his  hopes  and  wishes .    cozy  dissociation  had  overtaken  her ,     the  moment  felt  safe  enough  for  her  to  not  really  need  to  pay  attention  to  her  surroundings  .     all  that  mattered  was  them .     but  those  words  hit  her  ears ,    and  that  curtain  drops .  she  turns  to  him  fully ,     rolling  over  so  she’s  perched  up  on  her  elbows .    surely  her  dress  will  stain  ,  but  the  actress  doesn’t  care  :     never  has .      eyes  flicker  about  his  face ,   deep  browns  soaking  him  in .    his  freckles ,   his  hair ,   that  gentle  look  in  his  gaze    --    and  her  heart      𝚝𝚞𝚐𝚜  𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗  𝚑𝚎𝚛  𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚝   ;     a  desperate ,    bleeding  thing  wishing  nothing  more  than  to  abandon  her  body  and  be  seen .    she  doesn’t  notice  the  way  her      𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉  𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔  𝒊𝒏  𝒉𝒆𝒓  𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒕 ,      or  the  shake  in  her  hands  as  she  reaches  for  his .    all  she  knows  is  she’s  here  with  him ,    and  that’s  more  than  enough .   fingers  mindlessly  trace  patters  on  his  open  palm ,   a  nervous  purse  of  lips  given .       “    well ,    i  think    --    . . .    that     anyone’d     be  lucky  t’have  you .    y’know ?    ”      shoulders  lift  in  the  tiniest  of  shrugs ,   treating  words  as  if  they  shouldn’t  be  a  hard  sell .   to  lilibeth ,   anyways ,   they  weren’t .          “    you’re  a  good  guy ,    corey .     i  think  you’d  make  someone  real  happy .    ”        a  beat ,    and  reddening  cheeks  lift  into  an  shy  smile .     “    whoever  ya’d     wanna  be  with ,    i  mean .    ”
