1. Siggy and Rollo first met as teenagers shortly before her marriage to Earl Hearldson. Even then he felt the attraction to her, he was still very much a boy and Siggy still a girl.

2. Rollo is attracted to powerful women, his attraction, his want for Siggy was always multiplied by that. Seeing her in her element only made him want her more and then when all of it is taken from her, she handles it so well that is when he can truly see himself with this woman.

3. He loves her, in his own way. But he is so caught up in himself, in his own selfish desires that his love is overshadowed. He can’t even see how much this woman truly wants to help him. 

4. Rollo never truly gets over Siggy’s death even after his marriage and the birth of his children. Throughout his life he carries the guilt of treating her any less that what she deserved. Rollo believes he is the reason for her death until his last breath.

As you know my darling angel, those are very much stereotypes.  We do not wrestle gators, but we do have gators everywhere. To even touch an alligator one must have a license and permits. Most of us have all of our teeth and we take good care our teeth. You are right about our food. I’ve heard many a traveler say that we have some of the best food in the world.  New Orleans is great, but I’m happy to just visit!

siggy+children kills me. it is a constant struggle to keep from just auing all the time that she never lost her children. she would have been so different with children to fight for.

Tbh, I feel this on a spiritual level. In 95% of my threads I just refuse to accept the fact that Angrboda was killed off just as shitty as Gyda and Thyri. I think both really deserve to be a mother, and I just adore writing Helga with children.
