Ughsville Again...
Cuddled up on sofa in my beloved dump cake quilt. Cuntessa - How did I survive before this incredible gift?!? Quite honestly, I’m wrapped up in it daily! BEST PRESSIE EVER!!!
Today I am awake after 3 hours sleep. Down around 3am, up at 6am. C’mon, body, give me a break! Main “sufferings” today are massive stomach and head aches.
Not to be snotty or the likes, but we very, very rarely eat “fast food”. I walk through the door of one of these establishments, and I’ve inhaled double my allowed sodium intake for the day! Before health concerns, well, we’d usually opt for a local diner or summat of that nature.
Once up in New Hampshire last evening - I could tell that my glucose had bottomed out, and I had to eat something… And fast! So we made our way to the least offensive “fast food” choice available to us. Even while I was eating, I knew I’d pay harshly for ingesting such food. I was 100% correct.
Both The Silverback and I felt like shite by the time we were in Target. I was so damn thirsty! With a big lump just sitting in my tummy. We both felt massive heartburn brewing. On the drive south, all crap symptoms just got worse.
Once home we both hit the antacids and anti-gas tablets… And papaya enzyme. We each ate a plain slice of whole wheat bread to cleanse our mouths of the sticky slime and horrid taste. As The Silverback puts it - our digestive systems were “totally jacked”.
He didn’t get to sleep til 6am due to digestive distress and potty runs. I was up again at the same time for the same reasons. "Totally jacked" - indeed! We are just not “conditioned” to eat this sort of food. Neither of us.
Being wrapped up in my dump cake quilt always makes me feel better. Dare I even say - safe, secure, and loved? Well, I just did. Sure, we made a really bad food choice last night… We're adults - we knew what we were doing. We are both paying for it… But, my suffering is definitely being majorly offset thanks to one really special lady!
