Can we all stop, take a second, and just appreciate this lovely couple, who took in an adorable, extremely hungry filly trying to find a new home? Like, Pinkie probably came into Sugarcube Corner as a customer when she first came to Ponyville, and started telling them all about her cutie mark, and how she wants to make ponies smile, and her little adventures around town so far (and the nice friends she’s made like a pegasus whose voice is as soft as a baby bunny, or a pretty unicorn who offered to make her a hat, or a nice farmer who gave her some of her apple juice) and after so many visits and an inability to buy all the treats she wants, they just decide to give her a room? Forever? And basically adopted her, no questions asked??? AND LOVED HER FOR ALL TIME I’M SORRY THIS SHOULDN’T BE THE MAIN FOCUS BUT GUYS, WOW, THE CAKES ADOPTING PINKIE AND TEACHING HER HOW TO BAKE AND HALF-RAISING HER

Sidenote: If you’re wondering, she met RD just a bit later, who was still trying to save Fluttershy from the ground [I think there’s a story out there like this but I can’t remember the name], and only started to appreciate it after she met AJ and Pinkie

Rainbow was kinda grumpy at first, but Pinkie made her laugh (can’t you just hear their little voices going “You’re funny, Pinkie Pie” “I am?”)
