After a moment's hesitation, Salim asked, “Your friend, the alpha… he could read my scent? From that distance?”

“Jason’s got a better nose than anybody,” Nick answered as they walked, “Good enough he can even sniff out landmines. We sorta call him ‘Bloodhound’ for it.”

Salim nodded, knowing he'd have to stay away from ‘Jason’ more than anyone. He’d evaded anyone accidentally discovering his omega orientation before, and he wasn’t about to have a hotheaded jarhead ruin his cover now.

“He went this way, Spock.” Leo paused as he heard Sulu’s voice from just outside the stables. There was no doubt what they were speaking of, but Spock’s irritation made it all the more clear.

“He puts himself in needless danger, it is unbefitting of a royal.”

“James isn’t exactly your typical prince. I would have thought you would be used to it by now.”

Leo huffed a small laugh at Sulu’s teasing tone. Spock and James had been friends since childhood and still the prince’s actions seemed to baffle the man. As he heard the two walk away in search of their prince Leo took up his brush and went back to grooming the sable gelding Nyota had taken into town earlier. He smirked as the heard rustling in the hay above him.

“They’ll figure out this is where you hide eventually.” He called out. A sandy-haired head peered over the edge of the loft where the stable boys occasionally slept.

“Only if you tell them, Bones.” Jim grinned down at him as Leo led the horse back to its stall. “And you won’t tell them.”

“Oh I won’t, won’t I?” He latched the stall door and started up the ladder to join Jim in the loft. “Seems like I should, civil duty and all.”

Jim laughed and pulled Leo down into the straw with him. “You won’t tell them.”

Leo grunted as he fell next to Jim. He shoved at the prince and flopped down onto his back. “And why shouldn’t I?”

“Because,” Jim pushed up onto an elbow to look down at the stable worker. “You actually like it when it’s just the two of us.”

Leo bit back a smile and raised an eyebrow at Jim. “That’s awfully presumptuous of you, your highness.” Jim pulled a face that turned into a pout when Leo began to laugh.

“Are you saying you don’t enjoy my company, Bones? I’m hurt.” Jim pushed himself up and threw a leg over Leo’s waist, pinning him by his shoulders as he straddled him. “And here I go out of my way to give my guards the slip just for you.”

Leo slid his hands up Jim’s thighs with a smirk. “Just for me, your highness?”

Jim rolled his eyes and leaned down to kiss him. “You are such a shit, Bones.” He nipped at Leo’s jaw. “Don’t ever change.”

With a laugh Leo took a hold of Jim’s hips and rolled them, pressing a bruising kiss to his lips. Jim’s hands found their way into his hair as Leo’s worked their way up his shirt. Jim groaned into the kiss as Leo’s thumb brushed over his nipple. Leo tried to hush him, lest someone was just outside looking for the absent prince. It wasn’t too often they had a chance to stow away like this and Leo didn’t want Spock, Sulu, or, heavens forbid, the queen interrupting them.

Jim huffed and nipped at his lip roughly as he pressed his thigh between Leo’s legs. He chuckled at the choked off moan that broke past Leo’s lips and hushed him teasingly.

“Leo?” Nyota’s voice called out into the stables. “If you have James up there with you, he’s late to a meeting with the Romulan ambassador. I suggest you...wrap things up.” They listened to footsteps grow quieter as she walked away.

Jim groaned into Leo’s neck unhappily while Leo sighed. He kissed Jim’s cheek softly. “Come see me tonight.”

With a nod Jim pushed himself to his feet and held out a hand to help Leo up. “Soon, Bones. Soon it can just be the two of us.” Leo doubted that. Jim would be a good king, there wasn’t going to be room for Leo when he was ruling a kingdom. Jim smoothed a hand over Leo’s cheek. “I can hear you thinking. We will be together, Leo, I promise. Even if I have to change every law in the kingdom.” He placed a soft kiss to the corner of Leo’s mouth and rushed down the ladder and out of the stables.

Leo sighed and threw down a few flakes of hay before climbing down the ladder. He had his doubts that they would get to be together like Jim wanted. Then again, he had never known Jim to break a promise.

I have a lot of favorite movies. I guess I’ll just go with The LEGO Movie since it’s the most recent. I don’t think I’d ever laughed so much before watching that movie. It was an absolute joy.

Ummm, I don’t think I’ve had any intense romantic feelings for anyone ever…

5:Talk about the best birthday you've had.

My twenty-first birthday was the best this year because obvs it was my twenty-first and I celebrated with my best friend and my family.

Ah, I’m a girl and with the way society is I have quite a few. We’d be here a long while if I talked about all of them.

Hm, I love my boobs, tbh. lol, or maybe I like boobs in general? My eyebrows too when I get them done but when they are they’re just.. meh.

I used to be pretty wild I think and hella smart (dunno what happened in HS). I got into a lot of fights.. with boys lmao. That is until they hit their growth spurt and easily towered over me. Kinda hard to throw someone into a locker when they’re over six feet and on the football team.

Do you mean for a date or something? Well, it was pretty bloody awkward. I’ll never understand why someone finds me attractive and may want to date me? I felt bad afterward but I can’t make myself want someone, right?
