The SEAT Ibiza is a supermini manufactured by B Spanish automaker SEAT from 1984. Is SEAT’s best selling car . [1 ] The Ibiza is the name of the Spanish island of Ibiza, and its use in the car segment was the second naming nomenclature models Spanish cities following the SEAT Ronda.
The Cupster is the elegant seat design to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ibiza. Mechanically, it is a standard Ibiza Cupra 1.4 TSI 178 hp and DSG dual clutch transmission , but the look is completely unique. The little roadster is missing its roof, and is replaced by a shorter cut wraparound windscreen and side windows.
More automakers need events like the annual Wörthersee Treffen in Austria the Volkswagen Group. It offers an opportunity for designers of automobile giant to go wild and create unique pieces that do not otherwise sent. This year Audi has its 525 horsepower A3 Clubsport Quattro for the show , and this particular Ibiza Cupster is creating seats.
It has metal roll hoops above the seats that attach to a canvas cover dark gray and leads to an integrated rear spoiler. The body is lowered and broadened compared to the standard version , and it’s all topped with a coat of new paint Orange.
The interior also gets some upgrades with sport seats, Alcantara upholstery and a steering wheel in aniline leather . It is rare to see a subcompact hatchback becoming a coupe, but it’s like working here .
Like most creations Wörthersee VW group , there is no possibility that the Cupster actually see production. It’s just an opportunity to show and good for seat design to test . Scroll down to the details in the official announcement .

From the second generation version onwards seat formed part of the concern of the German automotive industry Volkswagen Group, and all further Ibiza generations , as well as the rest of the model range of SEAT , were built on platforms , components and technologies of the Volkswagen Group .
The Ibiza spans four generations , among which it has debuted twice ( in the second and in the fourth generation ) a new platform of the Volkswagen Group . They were the best selling model in the SEAT range . A rebadged version reconstructed from the first generation Ibiza remains under license still in production in China, the automaker Nanjing Automobile Group.
